Too much biased information regarding vegetarianism. Who agrees?!

Question: Too much biased information regarding vegetarianism!. Who agrees!?
Let's get something straight!. Regardless of our values, the fact that as vegetarians or vegans, we believe (for various reasons) why we shouldn't eat meat or animal products, there are still aspects of animal meat or products that are good, even though many vegans and vegetarians tend to deny this!.

What I am saying is that PETA makes claims like "drinking beer is better for you than drinking milk!." You get the picture!? Sure, you can avoid milk and dairy products because you believe in animal rights and want to do what you can to end that sort of suffering!. But the information regarding those health claims is biased - put forth as propaganda to persuade those to NOT drink milk!. It is beside the point!.

The thing is: yes, you believe that it is wrong to eat meat!. But to put it into perspective, health-wise it is quite beneficial to eat some kinds of meat in moderation!. No, you don't have to and nobody is forcing you to!.

Even though I don't eat fish (due to the fact that fish are getting overfished) I will not deny the truth - eating fish IS good for you!. But the GoVeg site has an article that eating fish is actually BAD for you when it isn't!. Ok, some fish might be contaminated!. But there are many fish that are free of contaminants!. Regardless of this, PETA and other vegetarian or vegan information articles will STILL try to convince you that it is bad for you!.

Does anybody see my point!? Can people look past their views and see the truth!? Even though you care for the animals, do you still deny the fact that meat, fish and eggs can (and are in some ways) good for you!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
All groups have an agenda!. And self promotion is a way of making sure they continue whit their existence!. The best way to promote yourself is to present controversial "facts" that sensationalize rather than give truthful information!.

Look at the posts: "fish contain mercury" yet billions of people eating fish are not dying of mercury poisoning are they!? But that bit of information is lost to those who must believe something that reinforces their own biases!. Everybody crows abut cruelty in farming!. their sources!? A YouTube video posted by PETA or ALF etc!. Nothing more!.
How many here have actually even been near a farm much less live in one!? Yet they are all farm experts!. And who benefits from all these!? The pro vegetarian societies who make money on memberships and vegetarian food companies who benefit from selling all these products!.And they insist meat eaters are subjected to propaganda!? Really!!

If meat, eggs and dairy were bad for humans, the human race would have died out years ago as we have been consuming them for thousands of years!. Just because there is over indulgence in Western societies leading to all sorts of medical problems, there is no need to deny those who benefit from eating food!. Aren't you asking that you don';t be stereotyped all the time!? Why can't you extend the same courtesy!?

Choose to be vegetarian if you wish!. But don't try to make me one if I don't want to and don't make yourself look foolish with fantastic claims that you know are untrueWww@FoodAQ@Com

I am totally open to suggestions!. If I needed meat to be healthy, I'd eat it!. But until I get proof I need meat in my diet, I'll stick to lots of plant-based foods!.

There are many studies saying that RAW fruits and vegetables eaten in large amounts help prevent cancer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

meat is not need at all!. please name one thing you need to eat meat to get!.

fish has mercury which defeats the purpose of eating it for health benefits!.

what does meat have that is so healthy!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't have a point!. Just verbal diarrhea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This seems more like a soapbox rant than a question, but I'll bite!.

Eating meat, eggs, and dairy does definitely provide nutrients for the body!. However, it also adds in a bunch of things that we don't need, like chemicals, scientifically-engineered hormones, and lots of added fats and cholesterol!.

I'm not a vegan for health reasons!. I'm a vegan because, to me, taking the life of an animal is wrong, and totally unnecessary!. If I choose to eat meat and dairy and use other animal products, I am contributing to industries which I feel are morally incorrect!.

Here's the bottom line: everything you can get from animal products can be gained from another plant-based source, so there's no reason that people need to eat animals and their byproducts to survive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I definitely respect people's views and reasons for choosing to be one!. Although I have to admit sometimes 'they' can tend to be not so respectful to those who do eat meat and animal product!. I am actually really glad that there are people just like you who chose to eat the way they eat, but do understand and acknowledge the fact that not all animal included things are horrible for your body and will send you to heck! I don't think that you deserve a reasonable mature response from people when you are not offering anything to back your claims!.
If you asked a question about why vegetarianism and veganism is good for you, or why meat is bad for you you would receive answers with SOURCES your question has no sources, you are offering nothing to back up your claims!.
When you can do that, I will answer you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a vegetarian and I don't care that people eat meat but its annoying how I get bagged out when its actually very healthy!. You get most of your protein from fruit and veggies!. Plus meat rots in your stomach after you've eaten it!.

Its been proved not eating meat reduces you from getting:
-obesity
-type 2 diabetes
-alot of cancers
-heart disease
-lots of other health problems plus it also increases your lifespan!.
