How do I know the difference between cheese made with rennet and cheese not made with it?!
I am a vegetarian!. How can I be sure to only eat cheese made with artificialIy produced or vegetarian enzymes and not cheese made with animal stomachs (rennet)!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you shop at Wal-Mart and do eat products containing dairy!.!.!.Cabot's cheese is a great choice!.

If you don't eat/drink dairy products then you also have to be careful to look for "casein" which is a milk derivative!. It is a protein which is the ingredient that enables soy cheese to melt like regular cheese!.

Just read ingredient labels before you buy!. Most cheese sold in the US does contain rennet!. If it doesn't, it will often be clearly labeled "vegetarian" and will be more expensive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
