Question: How can i tell if a product has meat in it or not!?
Some foods say suitable for vegitarians on them but most dont!.

Read the labels on everything, or make your food fresh yourself!. I know reading the ingredient list on everything is time-consuming and annoying (mostly because even then it's not 100% certain you'll achieve what you are trying to -- labels can be sneaky) but it's necessary if you want to avoid non-vegetarian ingredients!.

Mono-glycerides or di-glycerides is another way of saying hydrogenated oils!. These can be vegetarian or not, and it's not necessary to clarify either way on the labels!.

ive been a vegetarian for nine years now and its hard to know really!. you have to look for the smallest things like gelatin in gummy candy and what kind of oil is used in fries and potato chips!. simply read the ingredients!. the best food for vegetarians that's a restaurant is indian food, give that a try!. if your buying pre-made food, get it in a section where there is soy/ vegetarian food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

usually it'll say on the packaging if it has meat in it but you can always read the ingredients and enzymes are mostly proteins

it's so hard to know, I was buying yogurt not realizing it had animal by-products!. you have to search the internet for vegetarian websites, some of them list ingredients that indicate meatWww@FoodAQ@Com
