Question: My non veggie parents are turning up in two hours- what shall we have for an evening meal!?
Mum doesn't like spicey food, she likes potatoes with every meal they arive in about 2 hours I have a fairly well stocked larder but no inspration!.

They will not notice that it is vegetarian, chestnuts can be bought in tins or packed, they don't need to be soaked

How about a big pot of soup!? Lots of veggies, potatoes and beans in a tomatoe stock!? Serve with garlic or herbed bread that you toast in the oven!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cheese and Cucumber sandwiches!. You can add in spinach leaves, or lettuce, or even grated carrots!. Your choice as to spreads!. It sounds yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can always serve the classic spaghetti with garlic bread, no potatoes but it works great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well just because there not vegetarian's doesn't mean they can't have a meal you have!. Why not make a potato casserole, and whatever tea you like!
