I have always thought Thanksgiving was a silly holiday!.!.!.a day made for being grateful!.!.!.shouldn't we be so all the time!?

And I'm practically an atheist too (I consider myself pantheist!.!.!.but very similar beliefs!. I just still have more metaphysical stuff involved)!.
Anyway, we started getting Tofurkeys since last year, and they don't taste like turkey from what I remember, but they do taste good (especially the stuffing they put in there!)!. We're probably not authentic!.!.!.as my parents are immigrants and Thanksgiving wasn't something celebrated from their home country!. I don't care, I like getting days off though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grow up!. The holiday is about thanking God or whatever you believe in for everything you have or just being happy for everything you have and being with your family!. People who eat meat are not 'bad'!. Make a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner and be with your family and friends and be happy!.

A B, I am so psyched!. I have been a vegetarian for over three years but it is my first Thanksgiving as a vegan!. I am going to my inlaws!. They are all big meat eaters!. I hope they choke on their turkey!. Just kidding!. To each his own!. My hubby is a vegetarian,but not a vegan!. I have been cooking and baking all day so that I can bring foods tomorrow that I will be able to eat!. My husband's family makes fun of our vegetarianism so if I don't bring my own food tomorrow I will starve!. I love being a vegan!. I am so healthy!. My cholesterol dropped 60 points!. also, I feel so good about myself for playing a part in cruelty against animals!. I don't even like to think about all the turkeys that were killed so that people could have Thanksgiving turkey!. I find the day very grotesque!. Well, I have been a vegetarian since I was 13 and I became one simply because I dislike the taste of meat in general!. So yes I am very excited for Thanksgiving because it is a day I can spend with my family and eat a splendid meal with them where we enjoying each others company!. Besides my family has grown accustomed to me not eating meat but I eat all of our other delicious German-American foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'm kind of excited, even though everyone else will be eating a poor dead turkey!. I made some vegan dishes for my mom and I to eat with the family, and if anyone wants to try them !.!.!. they can have a lil bit !.!.!. but what I've made is all we vegans get to eat so paws off! >:O

My grandma is Cherokee, so I'm not a big fan of thanksgiving!.
