Calling all vegetarians?!
Okay so i'm a vegetarian [my parents dont exactly know yet!.!.] but i wanted to know what made you become one!?!?

Eating a dead carcass, for some strange reason, repulses me!. As the amazing Paul McCartney once said, "If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian!." Yet another reason to love the Beatles :)
also, I've learned a lot about the meat industry!. How they inject ground beef with red dye to make it look fresh; how they use the method that's more painful for the animal for the sake of saving a couple of dollars; how they inject animals with steroids to get a few extra pounds of meat; how they feed the animals until they can barely move; how they could barely move anyway because of the accommodations!.!.!. that's what happened to me, my parents didn't know until they tried to have me eat a VIENNA sausage and i like almost BARFED, i told them!. the reason i'm a vegitarian is because of animal cruelty, so many animal DIE when we could eat something else!. also i wouldn't kill an animal, why should i eat it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

well personally i think packaged meat looks disgusting!.
and i never really ate meat in the first place, esp!. red meat, i heard it causes colon cancer or something!.!.!.
the only meat ive ever really eaten was chicken, but idk i just decided to give it all up and see what happens, turns out, i lost alot of weight, which was a god thing :] and im living healthier!.
i love eating healthy now, vegetables are the best!.

I never really enjoyed eating meat, the taste and the texture did not sit well with me!. I silently became a vegetarian when I was 11 years old!.!.no one ever noticed I just ate the side dishes that did not contain meat!. Animals rights are now on the top of the list to continue, including better health and well being!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Most of them will tell you because they love animals but actually the REAL reason is for health issues!. If the planet was turning vegan or Fruiitarian the all Pharmaceutical Industry will collapse and shut down!. 99% of our health issues are due to a bad diet!. 99% of our health issues can be healed by a proper diet !. We didn't have groups like PETA when I changed, for me it was mainly to feel better!. When I gave up milk firstly, I felt great and I had more energy!. Then I gave up meat, and have never looked back!. The animal rights came later!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
