Congrats on wanting to go vegan!
First of all, don't listen to people when they tell you it's "so hard" or "expensive", because the truth is, it really isn't!. I'm 15 and was a vegetarian for a year before switching to veganism, and it was quite easy to do so! A lot of people think you can't eat anything, but that is a big fat lie!. I eat everything that everyone else eats just in different ways!. I can eat Fruit Loops, just with soymilk and I can eat hamburgers at a barbeque, but they're just Veggie Burgers!. Instead of scrambled eggs, I make tofu scramble, and I can eat pretty much all Italian food, like gnocchi and spaghetti, and Mexican food, like burritos and fajitas!. I eat pancakes and waffles, just vegan versions (soymilk instead of milk, extra baking powder to replace the eggs) and I love cakes and cookies too! But they're all -you guessed it- 100% vegan!. The only things you can't eat are meat (which you already don't eat), eggs, and dairy!. But there are vegan replacers for EVERYTHING, and they are really not that expensive!. Go to a place that specializes in organic food, like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, instead of a typical grocery store and you'll find them to be quite reasonably priced!.
My advice to you would be to take it slow!. Go your own pace and don't feel like you're in a rush; it will be easier to do so!. It helped for me to give up little things at a time!. For example I started off by not drinking milk and switching to soymilk!. After I was comfortable with that, I moved on to not eating yogurt and switched to soy yogurt, and instead of butter I switched to soy margarine!. Once I was comfortable with that I moved on to the next thing!.!.!. When you break a process up into little steps, it's a heck of a lot easier to accomplish your goal!.
Oh and one more thing, don't expect to lose weight because you don't lose weight on a vegan diet!. I did not lose one pound, which is a good thing, because I am already skinny and trying to gain weight :P
Well that's all, I wish you the best of luck and once again congrats on wanting to go vegan :D :D

It's not as easy as you'd think!. I've been a vegetarian for 7 years, and I've been trying to go vegan AT LEAST once per each of those years!. Obviously there are vegan alternatives to every animal product (ice cream, yogurt, etc), but they are incredibly expensive! So you can either give up pretty much everything but soy, or spend a lot of money on replacement products that don't really taste much like the originals anyway!.
Lately I've been trying to make the transition slowly - I've been having only soymilk and soy yogurt for the past year, and I'm just replacing food with one vegan product at a time!.

I think you could pretty much drink whatever you want, except milk!. Just substitute it for soymilk if you like, and soy cheese!.
You'll need to take all dairy and eggs out of your diet!. Some vegans also do not eat honey or wear anything with silk!. There are some who have no limits and those who follow the simple definition!.
If you don't know what to eat, you will probably lose weight, because you are basically not eating!. Just bring more beans and meaty vegetables into your diet, and invest in some very good tofu!. It can make up a very big part of your diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are contemplating doing it just to lose weight which sounds like it, then forget it!. You are not doing it for the right reasons at all!. If you were serious and knew about vegetarianism and what being a vegan entails you woudn't be asking the question here!. Does your mother know what you are intending because I am assuming you are a youngster with a body image problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
