Should I report this company?!
I went to buy bread today and I saw this new bread out that I hadn't seen before and it said in BIG BOLD WRITING vegan friendly, then I looked on the back and it said may contain traces of milk and egg, does this count!?
Am I just being fussy for not eating things with that on them!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's up to you whether or not you want to eat them!. It doesn't mean that they include eggs and milk as ingredients; it means that they don't use dedicated equipment!. (Basically, there might be traces of egg/milk because it is produced using the same machinery as products that have those as ingredients!.) The amount is negligible; the warning is there primarily for the benefit of those with allergies!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Who would you report them to!? Consumer Affairs!? My educated guess is that nothing would come of it!.
It's actually something that, by Australian law (probably a few other countries too), has to be written on the labels of all foods these days - IF the food was processed using the same equipment that also processes foods containing common allergens - i!.e!., peanuts, tree nuts, soy, shellfish, fish, milk, egg, wheat, gluten, etc!. The chances are minute that there are any traces of those things in the food, because the equipment has to be thoroughly cleaned between uses, but there's always a tiny tiny chance, so they have to cover themselves against possible lawsuits!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're from Australia right!?
Yeah like answerer said, companies write that on things when the machinery that's been used to make the product has also been used to make products containing milk and eggs, they do that here in Australia as well!. But still, there is a chance it does contain trace amounts of milk and eggs so it's your choice if you wanna risk it I guess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Perhaps they make that bread in a facility that also makes egg and milk breads!. Some people are SEVERELY allergic to eggs and milk and can't even have the tiniest smidgen of a taste!. They are probably just saying that it may contain traces to avoid lawsuits!. Contact them and see!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Here in the states they put that on the package when food has been processed on the same equipment as other products they made that contain milk and egg, in case people have allergies!. Maybe that's what that's all about!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would write or email the company from their customer service address on their website and ask for an explanation!. If they waffle around, then you can sound a little fried since you might have accidentally bought their fraudulent product!. But see what they say first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The producer perhaps not vegan, neither care for the health!. They care for $!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes report the company!. What brand is so that we may all know!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
