Teen vegetarians! i need your help..?!
There us this trip I want to go on for my 4H group!. The problem is, they will have no vegetarian options, since no one else is a vegetarian!.
What can I do!? It will be a 3 night stay so I can't bring something!.
Speaking of 4H and vegetarianism, my instructor lady went all bible on me and wrote down a verse from the bible on how I needed to be saved!.!.like being a vegetarian meant that I wouldn't go to heaven!.
anything like that ever happened to you!?
thanks in advanceWww@FoodAQ@Com

Ashley's still here I see!. Hmm!.
There are no vegetarian options, at all!? Not even sides!?
If it's allowed, bring a bag of granola bars, dried fruit, etc!. It won't be fancy, but it'll get you through!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

After seeing the intolerant post here (by "Ashley") I had to post something in support of you and your dilemma!. I'm not even going to get into the religious arguments, as it could then just go on forever!.
It's hard to give recommendations not knowing where you're going and what conditions will be present!. All I could recommend would be (since it's only 3 nights) to pack a bag of food!. Apples, Almonds, carrots, raisins, protein bars (LaraBar, Cliff Bars)!. The sorts of foods that aren't perishable in the course of 3 days/nights!.
Is there a coordinator that your instructor has to report to that you can discuss this with!? I find your instructor's behavior very intolerant and narrow-minded and I truly commiserate with you!. It seems that your instructors bible brush-off is merely a means of being too lazy to coordinate something that fits everyone's diet!. If you were diabetic, or otherwise nutritionally dependent, than she would be forced to find solutions for you, instead she's choosing to be lazy and judgmental!.
I hope you find a solution!.

You should speak to the instructor or trip coordinator about bringing your own meal selections -- bagged salad, or canned veggies or something!.
Or maybe have your parents talk to the instructor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should bring some pasta in a box, then cook it there!. (if its allowed, and make sure you ask before doing that!)

Bring some frozen steaks from the cute little cows that you and your family kills at your murder house how about!? Or maybe you can request to stay at a hotel near a grass lot and they can let you out every 10 minutes to graze!.
And btw, the bible does say that animals were meant to be eaten ever since the fall!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
