Would a vegan ride in a limo with leather seats?!

Question: Would a vegan ride in a limo with leather seats!?
Example: there was a huge fundraiser for PETA or Vegan folks of U!.S!.A!. or something and you were going to be a guest speaker and they sent a big limo to ferry you to the shin-dig but when they opened the door you saw that the upholstery was all leather!? Would a vegan like freak-out or stay cool and jump in!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Of course they would!. PETA is only about the money!. They actually eat meat but they harass others for it for the money!. They forgave Vick after he gave them a couple of million!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most sensible people would get in the car!.

Computers use animal fats when the moulds for plastics are made, i doubt they freak out when they touch thier computer ( or perhaps they don't use computers )

My point being you will see animal products everywhere, all you can do is make sure YOU are not responsible for the animals exploitation to the best of your ability!.

Anyone who claims they NEVER use animal products has not traced back through what they use!. You can gurantee everyone has used animal slaughter by-products!.

In this case the person that bought the car is responsible!. If the seats needed replacing for each journey then the passenger would be responsible!.

As it stands, the vegan passenger had no influence or control over the choice to use a dead cow for the seat!.

Leather = horses!.!.!.what on earth is that about!. makes you laughWww@FoodAQ@Com

Hi,

Many times the seats are made of a more durable leather looking fabric that only looks like real leather!. And even "Real" leather is not normally made up of cow hides, but comes from Horses!.

I guess if you want to ride in a limo without leather seats, you will have to make a special request several weeks in advance, so they can find one with cloth seats, that is not using leather in it anyplace, and does not use beeswax on the outside either!.

Animals where put on earth to serve humans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I personally would stay cool and jump in!. But perhaps that's because I am too young to drive, so I'm used to my parents driving me around in their cars which have leather seats!. I'm used to it so I don't make a big deal, but when I buy my first car, it will most definitely have cloth seats :P Now I can't answer your questions for other vegans, but my personal choice would be to just ride in it anyways!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Honey, I would kill for a nice car if possible, but my financial problems!. xD
I would go in it anyway, because I am not eating the leather!. :)

I'm just sitting on it, but not eating it!. As a vegetarian, I will not eat meat or food that has contents from animals!.

I have a pretty leather jacket my mum has given me on my 23rd Birthday, and I still wear it!. Does that make me a non-veg!?
:)

Take care hun!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would!.
I didn't purchase it, I have done my best to avoid animal product in anyway so this wouldn't be unreasonable to me!.
My boyfriend bought his furniture and care prior to me moving in, they are mostly leather!. I accept that and live with and sit on the lounges!.
That doesn't make me any less vegan!.
=)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on if there is a choice or not!. If 2 limos pulled up, one with leather seats and one without, the vegan choice would be the one with non-leather seats!. If there is no vegan choice involved, it isn't a vegan issue!.

Beer--that's my favorite too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you going to eat your leather seat!? All vegetarians do is not eat meat so its perfectly alright to ride in leather seats!. Its also perfectly alright to hunt baby deers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol you are reading my mind tonightWww@FoodAQ@Com
