Unless you're starving yourself or eating mostly junk food, don't worry about protein!. Really!. Even vegans get more than they really need!.
Beans, legumes, and nuts are good sources of protein, but moderate your nut intake, as they are also high in fat!. Dried beans aren't necessarily more nutritious, but they typically have less sodium than canned beans!. But if you don't want to think about soaking the beans before cooking, try to find lower sodium canned beans!.
Soy is a good source of protein, but try to limit your consumption of overprocessed soy foods (easier said than done)!. Quinoa, a South American grain, is a rare vegetarian perfect protein, and pretty tasty to boot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best source of non-meat protein is soybeans, as they are the only non-meat food that contains nearly every amino acid found in meat products that make up protein!.
