How can I make basic and cheap vegan figgy pudding?!
Answers:
FIGGY PUDDING
1 box organic vanilla soy milk
20 dried black figs (honey figs probably ok too!)
handfull of either hazelnuts or almonds
Pour the soy milk in a pot with the figs and nuts, and simmer until the figs are swollen and juicy ~ about 15 minutes!?
Turn off the stove and let it cool to lukewarm!.
Put it all in a blender and liquify!. Warning! If it's still too hot, the blender will explode!
When it's all blended up nice and creamy, pour it in a bowl and stick it in the fridge until it cools down completely!. It will solidify into a texture similar to chocolate pudding, and oh so yummy!.
if you dont have a blender, then you could hand mix it!.!.!.im sorry i can't find a recipe that doesn't need a blender involved!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
