Question: Can vegans be bodybuilders!?
it seems like all my friends who went vegan look like they have lost muscle mass after a while!.!.has anyone had this problem after going vegan!? I have heard numerous times that we don't need supplemental protein, but I would like to go vegan and maintain my athletic physique!. is it possible!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is absolutely possible!. I have bodybuilder friends who are vegetarian and vegan!. You need to consult a registered dietitian or learn a bit about nutrition!. And of course you need to work out!. Use it or lose it!.

They didn't lost muscle mass!. What they lost was most likely the fat that was covering up their lean muscle!. There are many body builders that are vegan!.

It's possible, but they will never be as strong as they could have been if they would have eaten meat!. There is actually this site about vegan body builders, but if you look at their pictures they aren't really that muscular or strong, they look just like a normal person would by eating meat and working out a few times a week!. But since they are vegan they have to exercise every single day to get the same effect a meat eater can in a few days a week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
