Is Vegetarian Chorizo any good?!
I love chorizo & i usually buy beef or pork, but this last time at the store, I read the ingredients & grabbed the vegetarian!. I've always knoooown what chorizo is, I just never read the label, hahaha!. So, I wanna make breakfast burrtios for dinner tonight!. Is it any good!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually it is!. I have had several faux meats and most of them are terrible!. Soyrizo actually tastes like the real thing, only notable difference is the texture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I've never had "real" chorizo!. But my husband has before we were vegan!. We have had the "soyrizo", I believe it's called, and he said it tastes exactly the same!.
I made a Tofu Rancheros with it!.
Whole wheat tortilla, beans, soyrizo, tofu scramble, soy cheese, and salsa!.
I've never liked the faux meat much, but my husband said it was really good!. I was lite on the soyrizo on my dish, but overall it was good!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, it's amazing isn't it!. You can make almost anything with soy!.
Anyway!. I've tried it before, I think!. It's a little hard to work with, with your hands!. So just frying it in a pan is the best instead of trying to make a shape out of what's in the tube!.
It's pretty darn good if you ask me!. The thing with most sausages and things like that, is that it's normally the spices that give it it's flavor!. The same with soy, adding the same flavors can make it taste almost similar to the meat equivalent!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
