Question: What foods should a vegetarian eat to remain healthy !? !?
I need to know what types of things i should eat to keep up all of the necessary level of iron and protein ect!. !?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Libby you will find this question is often asked here, check on the previous good and sometimes silly responses!.
Iron can come from fresh veg and pulses, just dont boil it all away!. Protein is in pulses, nuts, quorn and Tofu foods!.
Just keep it fresh and varied!. I have been veggie for 30 years with no health problems, both my kids are 100% veggie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The word "remain" assumes You were healthy when you ate meat!. Meat is not a holy food that has everything in it!.!.!.!.it doesn't even contain Carbohydrates: the fuel that keeps us alive!! Or Vitamin C!. Why doesn't meat have these imoortant things!.!.!.!.!.because meat isn't "food" it's muscle!.

also, humans are herbavores!.

Just getting OFF meat made you healthier(your body no longer has to digest and remove the protein and fat that the body didn't even need)!. And now your getting more carbs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

peanuts, peanut butter, avacados, olive oil, pecans, almonds, walnuts, low -fat cheese, in moderation!. milk, salads, lots of fresh fruit & veg!.
still water!. if u eat fish, tuna and salmon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

plenty of beans and pulses!. spinach and peas will give you iron!. and plenty of slow relesing carbs like brown rice and wholemeal bread!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
