Question: Can vegetarians have seafood!? !?

Answers:
you can eat whatever you want!. its your personal choice, and its no one else's decision to tell you what you can and cannot eat!.
but vegetariands DO NOT eat any meat!. this includes seafood and fish!. some people might say that there are "levels" of vegetarianism, but there isn't!. there's vegetarian and not vegetarian!. if you eat meat, you're not a vegetarian!. end of story!. if you eat seafood but no other meat, then you are a pescetarian, but a pescetarian is NOT a "level" of vegetarianism!.
but congrats on choosing to give up meat, even if you dont give it up all together, you're still saving lives!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

NO! Gosh, I can't tell you how annoying it was when I was a vegetarian and people would offer me things like fish, crab legs, even gelatin over and over again!. Or worse not tell me it was in something I just ate!

You CAN eat sea-food!. But, that would make you a Pescetarian not a Vegetarian!.

If you choose to eat seafood, please use the correct label! If we promote the Definition, it can prevent confusion!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians don't eat animals!.
"Seafood" for a vegetarian would be algae/seaweed (nori, agar, dulse, kelp, spirulina, etc!.)!.
Mollusks, crustaceans and fish, as well as whales, dolphins, seals, sea-lions, otters, turtles, sea-birds, sea-snakes, saltwater crocodiles, etc!. are all animals and therefore vegetarians do not eat them!.
You must be thinking of peskytarians, not vegetarians!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A "pescovegetarian" has mostly vegetables and fish (but no other animal products!.)

Some vegetarians have NO animal products whatsoever, including no eggs, honey or milk (even though no animals are killed)!. These are "vegans," pronounced VEE-gan!.

Some have eggs, or milk or both!. "Ovo- and lacto-vegetarians" Depends on your physiological needs and your beliefs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there are many levels of vegetarianism it's really up to what each individual is comfortable with you have to think about why you became a veg in the first place and see if you're alright with consuming seafood, I know plenty of vegetarians that will eat seafood as well as plenty that will not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a vegetarian and I eat seafood!. I became a vegetarian because of the idea if eating something raised to die!. I figure that seafood was never really tortured I'd feed hormones!. Crab and lobster though are a major no!. They're boiled!.!.!.ALIVE!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegetarian won't eat any animal!. That includes seafood!.
A Pescetarian eats seafood, but those are the only animals they will eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

VEGETARIANS DO NOT EAT ANIMALS!. Pescetarians can eat sea-animals like oysters, mussels and fish!. Vegetarians cannot! Someone who eats fish is NOT a vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegetarian is a person who eats animal products but not meat or fish!. A person who doesn't eat meat but eats animal products, and fish is a pescetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
