Answers:
Yes, Crisco is 100% vegetarian and also fine for vegansWww@FoodAQ@Com

Both coconut and palm oil are suitable for vegetarians and are solid fats unless the weather is hot enough to melt them! They are high in saturated fats which means you should use them in moderation, like all fats and oils!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crisco is actually vegetable shortening (a solid fat)!. also, there are vegetable oil based margarines!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shortenings are all hydrogenate vegetable oils, which they are usually used in ready cakes for example!. personally i would not recommend to use these fats on a daily base as are high in trans fatty acids which increase the bad cholesterol=to coronary cardiovascular disease!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crisco is vegetarian, yes!.

Anything that says "shortening" should be vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sunflower spread, you could use that!. I buy a brand called Pure!. They also do a soy spread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
