To blanch or not to blanch.. veggies?!

Question: To blanch or not to blanch!.!. veggies!?
I clean my veggies (mostly green leafy) using two large bowls!. One with Vinegar/water and the other with a couple caps of Hydrogen Peroxide!. Rinse thoroughly then bag them in zip locks and freeze them!.

Is this ok instead of blanching!?

I do this for my green smoothiesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I have an aunt named Blanch!.
She resembles a vegetable!.
Sometimes they bring her out back and hose her off with just plain old water!.
Seems to work out just fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you use the veggies soon you can omit the blanching!. Blanching helps sanitize and clean them!. It may also preserve color!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds fine to me!.
Personally, I'd use organic veggies!.
There's no need to blanch anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
