Do they have special food for vegetarians?!
i just recently became a vegetarian and i wanted to know if their is certain food to eat that will give me the protein that meat would!. also, if there is what is it called!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you want quick meat replacements check the frozen food isle in the store for these brands, which are my favorites:
Quorn- made from mycoprotein!. The cutlets and pieces are very similar to chicken and easy to cook!. Haven't tried the beef substitute yet, but I never ate beef anyway!.
Morningstar farms- bright green boxes!. They make just about every meat substitute from soy, including sausage, bacon, burgers, chik patties (yummy) and meal starters (i would recommend quorn pieces over these ones)
Amy's kitchen- very tasty, organic, meat free meals and burgers!. everything i've ever had by them is really good, especially the california veggie burger!.
Some of this stuff is high in sodium, so don't really too much on it- make sure to eat lots of fresh veggies and fruits, and legumes/nuts as well for protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are no "special foods" as such for vegetarians - protein is present in many plant foods as well as in meat!. Neither meat or plants provides a better or worse source for protein than the other by definition!.
I would recommend a variety of grains, pulses, and just generally high calories, as it's actually difficult to actually get too little protein so long as calorie intake is enough and diet has good variety!. Beans, potatoes, wholewheat breads and pasta, and quinoa are all good sources!. I would recommend veganhealth!.org to learn more about key nutrients for a veggie diet!. Although cow's milk can provide protein, I wouldn't put it as a great source for this purpose for reasons explained on the site!.

America is being poisoned from the huge amount of protein they're taking in!. Don't worry about getting as much protein as you used to!. Eat a healthy, balanced, diet of unrefined foods and you will be healthy as a horse in no time!. I became a vegetarian a year ago and haven't even had a sniffle since!. Too much protein WILL POISON YOUR BODY!. All you need to be healthy is eat the most unrefined food you can!. "Hearty lentil soup, chock full of veggies and very yummy!. Serve with warm cornbread!."
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
2 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 (14!.5 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 cups dry lentils
8 cups water
1/2 cup spinach, rinsed and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vinegar
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a large soup pot, heat oil over medium heat!. Add onions, carrots, and celery; cook and stir until onion is tender!. Stir in garlic, bay leaf, oregano, and basil; cook for 2 minutes!.
Stir in lentils, and add water and tomatoes!. Bring to a boil!. Reduce heat, and simmer for at least 1 hour!. When ready to serve stir in spinach, and cook until it wilts!. Stir in vinegar, and season to taste with salt and pepper, and more vinegar if desired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
