What are the pros & cons of being a vegetarian?!

Question: What are the pros & cons of being a vegetarian!?
And is there such a term as "Semi-vegetarian"!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Semi-vegetarianism is a joke!.
You can be pescitarian, any more meat than that is just back to meat eater in my opinion!.(Pescitarian is a vegetarian that eats fish, so ont a vegetarian, but a pescitarian!)

Pros: Your health(Ignore maggie M, she knows nothing about nutrition, there is a raw vegan nutritionist on here, forgot her name, but my point is, it IS healthy!!
About 95 less animals go through the hell of a factory farm! See, when one person goes veggies, the demand goes down a little, when the demand goes down a little, the production goes down a little!. When the production goes down, less animals are born!. :)
I can't seem to think of any way it would not be healthy when done correctly, I would love for Maggie M!. to tell me, but she obviously will not, because she has not facts to back that up, because it is not true!. :)
No cons other than maybe some immature people make fun of you!. You learn to get over what ignorant people say pretty quickly because YOU know the good YOU are doing! Its kinda funny how people are putting there bodies at risk for certain cancers and other diseases to much red meat can up your risk for and then bragging about it! rotfl!!

in my opinion there isnt, if you are gonna be "semi-vegetarian" why don't you just be an omnivore that occasionally doesn't eat meat!.

pros:
1!.good for environment
2!.not hurting animals
3!.healthy if done right
4!.feel good about not hurting animals

cons:
1!. can't eat some foods you like
2!. might get teased
3!. hard to eat out sometimes!.

edit:
i think is pretty crazy how people are making all these vegetarian subgroups, to me it is simple you either eat meat or you don't eat meat!. and for vegans you either use animal products or you don't!.

edit again: maggie your ignorance is funnyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Pro's:
-More healthy lifestyle
-Cheaper groceries
side note: most vegetarians only become vegetarians because they don't believe that animals should die to serve us or the way their slaughtered

Con's:
-Your completely eliminating one food group for the pyramid
-Need to eat other things to replace proteins and other nutrients lost
-Is somewhat unhealthy if done wrong and thus be more prone to sickness

Semi:
Eats fish or sometimes eats meat

Personally I would not want to be a veggie head, i like chicken, beef, pork etc way too much and I believe that we are omnivores so why not eat like oneWww@FoodAQ@Com
