Vegetarianism and how to deal?!

Question: Vegetarianism and how to deal!?
Please help me with my dilemma!. I have a father who is very conservative (don't get me wrong, I view myself as a complete independent and agree with some conservative and some liberal beliefs!.)!. For whatever reason, he very much disagrees with PETA!. How can I get my father to both accept the fact that I want to avoid animal cruelty in my food and agree to support my lifestyle choice!? also, how will I know for sure that the products I am using in my life are cruelty-free!? Any other veg-related advice would be so appreciated, you have no idea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sometimes its hard to get your family members to understand your healthy way of eating!. The best way to handle your father is to happily continue to live your vegetarian lifestyle!. I would not try to get into a debate with him on why vegetarian food is much more healthier than meat!. All that will do is frustrate both of you!. Just allow him to see the positive results that you are receiving by educating yourself more and being confident about being a vegetarian!. We lead by example!. Maybe later he will come around!. My mother did!. And now she only eats fish!. And I am so proud of her!.

also, make sure you shop at your closest Health Food grocery store where most of the products are cruelty-free!. If you are not near a health Food store then make sure you check your labels for certain keywords!. This is my way of making 100% sure that the product is cruelty-free by making sure that all ingredients are natural and I can pronounce them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

being a vegetarian has little to do with people for the ethical treatment of animals!.

memorize a few reasons that people go vegetarian for when your dad asks you questions; like you don't need meat to be healthy, meat causes more greenhouse gases than all the cars and planes in the world, meat causes Atherosclerosis (scarring of the arteries), bacon causes colon cancer

for cruelty free cosmetics look for the flying bunny logo!.
if you are vegetarian just don't eat meat!. don't have to read labels on food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

PETA can be a little extreme and as a life time vegetarian I do not care for them!. You can not expect to change any one elses beliefs!. Just be respectful of others and someday they will be respectful of you too!.
I have found it is better to not stress /worry!. If Grand mom used a chicken bouvian cube oh well!. In your own kitchen you are in control of what is prepared!. Anywhere else you can not be sure!.

Many products we do not expect have animal by-products!. There is a vegan society out of Europe that has more details!. Sorry I do not know the web site!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
