Answers:
I don't really think being a vegetarian is "like" anything, lol!.
Once you become conscious of what you consume, its really quite easy!. There are SO many meat substitutes and many taste wonderful, that if you do like the taste of meat then you won't really be missing anything!. (I personally rarely eat meat substitutes, because I generally really enjoy veggies, fruits, herbs, grains/oats/fibers and other protein sources such a tofu, nuts and beans)
I am assuming that you are planning on going vegetarian, not vegan!. Do you plan on still eating eggs, cheese and drinking milk !?
If so, then I believe that making the switch to vegetarianism should be quite easy!. I think that a lot of the difficulties that people have with converting to a meat free diet is that the idea that meat is necessary for you to get protein and other nutrients, as well as to feel full!.
Society has engrained it in us that we absolutely need meat to have a satisfying meal, and has made meat based foods easily accessible ($1 double cheeseburgers and "taco tuesdays")!. Its much harder to find a $1 vegetarian fast food choice!.
For me, these situations aren't problematic!. I've found even the crappiest of fast food joints (del taco & jack in the box) have grilled cheese sandwhiches, and del taco uses vegetarian beans (no lard AND they cook the beans there surprisingly)!. And if you're in California, in-n-out has AMAZING grilled cheeses, with lettuce, tomatoes and basically whatever else u want on it!.
What are your reasons for wanting to be a vegetarian !? If you want to be healthier, then kudos ! I'm going to be quite honest !.!.!. almost all of my friends are vegans/vegetarians, and none of them are rail thin, anorexic, sickly!. In fact, they are some of the healthiest, mentally clear, non-sickly people I know!. Just make sure you are consuming enough proteins with your veggies and fruits!. Snack often on healthy, fiber rich snacks!. Drink lotsa water!. Once you educate yourself on proper eating, it'll become second nature and it won't even bother you (just don't give into the crap people feed you about needing meat !)
As for what I eat !.!.!.
Yesterday, I had whole grain pancakes for breakfast, a peanut butter sandwhich for lunch, and one of the said grilled cheeses from in-n-out for dinner (yesterday was definitely not a "healthy" day, haha!. It was my day off !)
Today for breakfast I had a whole grain bagel with cream cheese, and for lunch I'm making a salad (just your normal lettuce) with some carrots, cucumbers and seasoned/grilled tofu!. Dinner will probably be some pasta and salad or something too that effect since its easy and quick!.
Snacking is pretty easy too!.!.!. I snack throughout the day !.!.!. small salads, fruits/veggies (or dried fruits/veggies with granola/yogurt/soy milk), hummus is delicious and good for you, ect!. I don't count calories, or watch carbs and such (although I do try to consume mostly whole grains instead of white breads and crap like that)!. I just eat natural healthy, not overly processed or not processed at all foods and it keeps me happy!.
so, stick to it ! Clear your mind of the bs that commercialism feeds you and just eat yummy, healthy foods that taste good to you!. Do your research and enjoy :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well!.!.!. there's different types of vegetarians!. There is the ovo-vegetarian and they eat eggs and there is lacto-vegetarian who drinks milk!. Though being vegetarian means that you still have intake of animal of some source (not vegan)!.
Some eat foods that you would if you were still a meateater- there's veggie burgers, veggie dogs, "chicken" sandwiches/bites, ground "beef" and other food!. These can be found almost at any store: Walmart, Meijer, and even small stores in the frozen entrees section!. There's tofu, which can be used in almost anything I see it used mostly in cultural dishes: Chinese, other Asian food, Mexican, Italian, etc!. Tofu is also used in some drinks and desserts, I thought it sounded a little gross at first, but it was pretty good!.
If you're looking to lose weight safely while doing a benefit for you and the animals then this is probably the best choice!. I lost 15 lbs!. in 4 months! I've been vegetarian for a year and I like it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I disagree with so many people saying that going vegetarian means being skinny!. It's so untrue!. You eat a lot of carbohydrate and you lose only excess fats!.
I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits, plus rice, spaghetti or bread!. Legumes, beans and nuts are also important for the protein!. Another important vitamin is B12 which you have to take as a supplement as it is only available in meat!. Most breakfast cereals have added vitamin B12 too!.
Other details will include pooping a lot, due to increased fiber intake, which is good in a way!.
I hope you'll enjoy the benefits of being vegetarian when you try it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's really not a big deal!. I don't eat meat!. I don't think about eating meat!. Just like most people, I eat what I enjoy eating!. I'm not like OMG I'm a vegetarian! every time the subject of food comes up!. I eat pasta, sandwiches, soup, pizza, junk food, veggies cooked different ways, and tons of other things!. Everyone eats "vegetarian" food more than they realize!. Go ahead and try it and it will be easier than you think!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There are tons of options for vegetarians!. But what you eat depends on how strict you want to be!. Obviously fruits and vegetables are a big part of your diet!. also, breads, nuts, eggs, and dairy products (if you so choose)!. There are also many options for meat substitutes if you do a bit of research--soy and tofu and veggie burger type things, as well as products like Quorn, which simulate meat!. As long as you do it wisely, it can be a very healthy lifestyle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
What's it like!? It's like being a person that simply doesn't eat meat!. I've been a vegetarian all my life (born to veggie parents) and I love it!. The important thing is to eat a balanced diet!. You can get enough protein, calcium, and iron from plants and plant based foods!. Just remember!.!.!.balance! There is no meat in french fries but that doesn't mean you should eat lots of them! Learn what your body needs to survive (protein, minerals, etc) and then learn what foods provide it!. The dole nutrition institute online (food facts a-z www!.dole!.com) is a great and easy resource for this!. I'm not rail-thin, anaemic, foggy, weak, etc!. Vegetarianism doesn't cause that!. A poor diet and lack of exercise causes that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It will make you skinny and useless, possibly Liberal, and lose all your friends!. Remember the phrase "Legs with two give a shoe, legs with four use a chainsaw"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I like being a vegetarian (vegan) as I never feel guilty about what I eat and I feel healthier too!.
There is so much that you can eat if you just open your mind and your palate!Www@FoodAQ@Com
