Vegetarian "birthday," if you will...?!

Question: Vegetarian "birthday," if you will!.!.!.!?
VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS ONLY! NO TROLLS, PLEASE!

Would a veg(etari)an do anything special on the annual date of the day they made the switch to the vegetarian diet, or began the diet!?

This does not apply to those lucky enough never to have eaten animal flesh!.

I'll have been a vegetarian for one year (thank you, thank you) on 20 February!. Would I do anything special, such as on a more notable date, like a birthday or anniversary or whatever!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I never have, every day is a celebration! XD

Actually I lost the date, because I became a vegetarian gradually when I was a lot younger, and then a vegan gradually- and have remained so for years!.

There's no harm in doing it, really!. If you want to, go ahead! Maybe plant a tree if the weather isn't too bad where you live (and not covered in 4 inches of snow like where I live) / plan to plant one in the spring!? Or introduce some non-veggy people to some great recipes!? :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not but my brother is and he doesn't celebrate!. Then again he's not really a celebrater kinda guy!.

I know about 100 vegetarians and only 1 that I know of celebrates!. Of course they may acknowledge it privately and I just don't know it!.

It's up to you!. If it's special to you and a major accomplishment in your life, I say live it up, party hardy, get down with your bad self!.

Congrats BTW!!!!! Woo Hoo you!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My day is December 16, 2000!. Every year I say I'm going to celebrate, but then the day comes and goes and I never do anything!. Oh well!.

I figure when I reach a decade I'll have to do something big, because ten years is a long time!. We'll see I guess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ha I don't even remember what day or even what year I stopped eating meat!. I was too young!.

But sure go and have a good time!. Nothing wrong with that at all!. :) And congratulations!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
