Vegan without tofu and soy dairy?!

Question: Vegan without tofu and soy dairy!?
I am 16 and a vegan and currently jobless and until I get a job and can buy my own vegan products my mom refuses to buy soy dairy or tofu or anything of the sort [TVP or Temp eh]!. She will buy fresh veg's and fruit and I know how to make my own tofu, it takes a long time, so I would probably make it once or twice a week!. Is this healthy for maybe a month or two!? I do take vitamins and bought those with the last of my money[They have all of the nutrients that need attention on the vegan diet]!. I just want to know if it is healthy to eat mostly fruit and veg and no soy dairy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's very healthy to just eat veggies and fruit!. In fact, soy products are not the healthiest food!. It's what you called "Lesser of the Evil"!. Soy products should only be consumed sparingly!. You can get your protein from beans and leafy green vegetables!.

I don't think it healthy just to be on fruits, veggies and soy alone!. If you cannot afford to buy the vitamins make sure you research what foods have what vitamins!. For example, if you are unable to take an iron pill, which should be taken from any vegan or vegetarian eat more dark greens until you can get the vitamin!. Iron is super important to you because red meat is the main supply of iron for a regular meat eating diet!. also stock up on beans, leguments anything with extra nutrients!.But make sure to research to get your proper nutrients---Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com

Soy dairy is anyway not good for you!. Eat lots of lentils, beans and pulses, and plenty of nuts!. Combine them with rice and buckwheat for maximum benefits!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
