Answers:
There are a lot of veggie burgers, they are quick, healthy (have about 9-14 grams of protein)!. Chick'n Nuggets, Crumbles (like taco/chopped meat), chick'n strips, 'beef' strips, corn dogs, buffalo wings, hot dogs, bacon, sausage pattys, sausage links and muchh more!. (links below to veggie burgers)

I am vegan and I love pasta
-stir fry with rice noodles (regular work fine but i like rice) w/ soy sauce and mixed veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, watercress!. maybe add tofu if you are feeling adventurous!. I don't really like it though!.
-thai microwavable meals (from thai kitchen or simply asia) they are really convenient and really tasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Congratulations on your decision to eat in a way that is good for your body, the environment, and the animals(pigs, cows, chickens, etc!.)! If your parents still cook for you, remind them that you can eat much of what they eat, minus the meat!. When I was a teen, my mom would make lasagna and leave the meat out of half of the dish!. With all of the substitutes available today you can find an alternative to almost anything!. Veggie crumbles can be added to "hamburger" helper, chili, and even tacos; veggie "chicken" is almost indistinguishable from the real thing!. If you have a veggie festival in your area, bring your parents along so that they can not only feel better about your decision, but they might end up being proud of your choice as well!Www@FoodAQ@Com

barnes & noble has a surprisingly good selection of vegetarian cookbooks!.

like others said, you can modify the recipes your family uses to suit your needs!.

and i never noticed until someone said something to me recently!.!. i was eating the fake meats and other processed foods!.!. particularly boca chicken patties!.!. they're very high in sodium content!. 430mg to be exact!. with the chicken nuggets & patties ranging over 500mg!. i never even noticed!.!. i was just eating it because it was meatless!.

but after googling i found that 500mg is about the minimum you need and 2,400mg should be the limit!. roughly!. so i would say if you choose to eat these, take note of the sodium content to make sure you aren't packing your body full of it which can lead to other problems!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am vegetarian and my kids are not!. for dinners i usually make them chicken or beef of some kind and some of what theya re having without the meat for me!. pasta with garlic, oil, broccoli for me + chicken for them!.

we love mexican, so if they have tacos, i make my own with the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, salsa, beans, rice, etc!.

or enchiladas same thing, I make mine without the chicken!.

salads are good and easy and you can get creative with those, add things like, cheese, hard bolied eggs, tofu, green beans, beets, anything you like!. and salads can be wrapped up in a tortilla for a wrap!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make a lot of different egg dishes!. Omelettes with cheese and veggies and a piece of toast would make a great dinner!. also, there are many vegetarian frozen dinners out there (Amy's Organic is a good brand)!. Or how about sandwiches!? Grilled cheese, cheese and veggie (like Subway) or a fried egg and cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My favourite meal at the moment is a pasta dish with homemade sauce!. I just sautee some chopped roma tomatoes in a pan with some olive oil and garlic, and when they start to go soft I add herbs like basil and parsley!. I pour that sauce over cooked spaghetti usually and it's delicious!. If you're a cheese eater some grated parmesan would be nice on it, or the vegetarian cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

im a vegetarian!.
i usually eat velveeta mac&cheese, spaghetti without the meat, lost of salad, cereals, oatmeal, etc!. there are a lot of choices if you know how to look for them
you can also buy boca and morning star foods from walmart (fake meat) its high in protein which you need!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

bean burritos! with cheese and sour cream and salsa!. mmmWww@FoodAQ@Com

So it seems like everyones answers are relatively similar, and mine will probably be as well!.

If you're just becoming a vegetarian and still getting used to not consuming meat, i'd say start off with things you eat already that are "vegetarian", and build on that!. By this I mean :

Bean & cheese burritos
Cheese quesadillas
Grilled cheeses
Breakfast foods, like omelettes, cereals, ect!.
Cheese pizza

These items are not the healthiest BUT it'l get your mind off the cheeseburger!.

Start to slowly incorporate more veggies, just put them on everything possible!.

One of my favorite quick snack/meals is this :

Whole grain pita, flat not cut in half

Pepperjack cheese

Cilantro, bell peppers, green onion (and any other veggie you like)

I cover the pita in cheese, and bake it a few minutes!. Then I top it with the veggies and some salsa!. Its SO good and so quick!.

Like other people said, sometimes merely removing the meat from family dishes will work!. Eat beans and nuts for protein, as well as cheeses!. Protein is vital !

Veggie meals don't have to be fancy, difficult or expensive!. Like many people already said, google 'easy vegetarian meals' and you're golden !Www@FoodAQ@Com
