Veganism and vegetarianism are believed to be an aid in disease prevention and/or reversing certain ailments!. Vegans do not eat mean or meat products: also, they do not wear or use any animal products in their daily living, such as leather or fur!.

It is true that you need protein, but you need a variety of other nutrients too, such as those found in fruits, vegetables, and grains!. However, you can get quality protein from beans, soy, and vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can live a very healthy life following either a vegetarian or vegan diet!. Vegans have a more difficult time getting the iron and proteins they need, but if you are diligent that is no problem at all!. My sister is a vegan and she's the picture of health!. It's not an easy thing to jump into, however!. So I'd recommend starting out vegetarian, reading about veganism, and going from there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

- Ovo vegetarians eat eggs
- Lacto vegetarians eat dairy
- Ovo-locto vegetarians eat both eggs and dairy
- Pure vegetarians don't eat any animal byproducts
- Vegans are the strictest since they don't use animal byproducts either!.

They are all healthy choices if done right!. Ovo-locto is the easiest to follow!. Vegan is the hardest!.

Vegetarian is more healthy simply because of eggs and vitamin butter!. However cut out the milk and cheese, they won't help at all!.

Vegans generally consume less processed foods and milky foods than vegetarians, and eat closer to nature so they are more "clean" inside, and put less pressure on their bodies!. But you still need some small form of animal fat in your diet in order for vitamins and minerals from vegetables/fruits to be properly assimilated and achieve healthy balance!.

I honestly think the best diet for health purposes only, is one that is largely vegan with small amounts of wild high fat fish (salmon/cod) and unpasturized raw butter from clean happy cows!. But in today's world, the perfect diet would be difficult to achieve and maintain!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you eat a sensible balanced diet, then that is about as healthy as you can get!. There may be no benefits to stopping eating meat!. There are some very healthy meat eaters!. It's all about choice and how you feel about yourself!.
Many vegetarians I know drink too much!. So much for being health conscious there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your cholesterol will drop, your blood pressure will likely drop, you'll lose weight if you're not already at a healthy body weight and when you eat, you won't have that stuffed "bloated" feeling, even after a huge meal :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

A person with a healthy mind reacts with disgust
when faced with violence and nastiness!.
i!.e!. meat, egg, dairy, fur, horse-racing etc!.
Vegansism is the way to go!.

As far is healthy bodies go, anyone (vegan,
veggies & meat-eaters) can be healthy if they are
sensible about their diet!. Similarly there are lots
of unhealthy people on each diet, so when you
seea stick like vegan, don't blame the diet,
bame the person!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
