Adverse reaction to soy products?!

Question: Adverse reaction to soy products!?
I started taking the advice of some people on TV and I started eating more soy products, such as soy milk, tofu, etc!. I like the taste of it so I started eating it a lot, sometimes several times a day!.

After a few weeks of eating soy I noticed that my chest started getting a bit fatty, but I didn't worry about it too much!. After a few more months my condition worsened, and now I have full sized breasts!. If I was a female I would be happy, but I am a male!

My doctor tested my blood and said that I had too much estrogen in my body, but he didn't know what was causing it!.

I just read recently that soy products contain estrogen!. I put two and two together and I suspect soy caused me to grow breasts!. Have any other males developed female features from eating soy!?! Should I stop eating soy!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Contact medical journals - they'll be interested in this as the first documented (rather than rumoured) case of its kind!.

Soya proteins contain isoflavones that can mimic a weak oestrogen effect!. It's not the same as the oestrogen a human body makes though - it is 1,000 times weaker, but it's this that has led to concerns (and rumour) about adverse effects on men - and to made up silly questions like yours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

uh, well I don't know of males who turned feminine from eating soy, but if it contains estrogen, it's probably the problem and if you don't want moobs, you should stop eating it, its good for some people, but for others its not-so-good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go away troll!.

Seriously, no one believes this nonsense!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
