How in the world do you become vegan?!


Question: How in the world do you become vegan!?
I've been a vegetarian for almost a year, and I'm pretty darn sure that I'm ready to go full vegan!. My question is how do you do it!? what do you really eat that doesn't cost a fortune!? do you know any fabulous low-fat recipes that are yummy!? Is eating in a restaurant difficult!? do you feel any better than when you ate meat/were just a vegetarian!?

I need help with this!. I'm a serious cheese-aholic!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I became a vegan very spur of the moment!. Just cut out the dairy one day and figured it out along the way!. I don't think that's probably the best way to do it, but it worked for me and I've never felt healthier!. I, too, was a cheese (and ranch dressing) addict and it really wasn't that hard to cut it out!. I just didn't eat it anymore, and that was that!. It might not be that easy for you, though!. I guess it just depends on how willing you are to take the plunge!. Restaurants can be tough, but I just order sides or get really annoying to the server (I'm sure) and have them cut out all the dairy, if possible!.!.!.which usually it is!. My health has greatly improved since going vegan!. I was constantly sick before (even when I was a vegetarian) and haven't had as much as a cold since going vegan!. Plus I've lost 20 pounds! Going vegan is not easy, but not impossible either! Before doing this you should research, research, research!!!! Find as many vegan recipes as you possible can!. This may take days but it is well worth it when your hungry and can't seem to find anything vegan to eat!. You will definatly have to meal plan!. 1 or 2 weeks in advance is really good and of course with any diet, meal planning saves you alot of money!!! There are actually many things you already eat that are vegan! You will be reading every label for a time while making this transition!. It can be difficult to eat out while your getting used to it, but you will learn whats whats soon enough!. I'm sure you will feel alot better once you get into it!. You might drop some weight!. You will learn from your mistakes! Trust me!!! I can't stress the meal planning enough!. Just keep an open mind and you will be just fine!!!!! you already aren't eating meat!.!. simple!. Switch your regular milk for soy milk!. Stop eating eggs for breakfast and have some toast!. Use margarine instead of butter!.

It's not all that expensive!.

This is whats on my shopping list (I don't physically have a list)

Beans from cans,
Lentils,
Nuts,
Veg,
Fruit,
Soy Milk,
Soy Butter

Surely its cheaper this way!.

It's pretty impossible to ever have a meal at a restaraunt if you're vegan!. You don't have to become vegan all at once you know!. Why not ease into it gradually and see how you take to it!? I tried it and couldn't cut it, not for meWww@FoodAQ@Com
