One of my favorites is fried tofu!

- Cut your firm tofu into cubes (after squeezing some of the water out with a paper towel)!.
- Fill a zip-lock baggie 1/2 way with corn starch, and season it a little with garlic powder & salt!.
- Shake the tofu cubes in the bag to coat them!.
- Heat some oil in a pan, and carefully drop the tofu cubes into the oil (after shaking off any excess corn starch)!.
- fry them a couple of minutes on each side until slightly brown, then drain on a paper towel!.
- I like to serve them over rice with chopped green onion & hoisin sauce!. They're crunchy on the outside, sweet on the inside, and SO YUMMY! :)

I make tofu stir-fry several times a week!. I use super firm high protein tofu, cut it up into cubes and saute it a bit on medium heat in Braggs Amino Acids (healthier version of soy sauce) mixed in with water and a little olive oil!. After it's absorbed up some of that flavor, I add in fresh veggies and let those steam!.
It's so delicious and easy to make!.
I also make tofu sandwiches!. 100% whole wheat bread, some of the same tofu, mustard, veganaise, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce!.
I like to make simple meals, nothing where I need to buy a lot of ingredients or spices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
