Which nuts are best for vegetarians? ?!

Question: Which nuts are best for vegetarians!? !?
I'm becoming a vegetarian as anyone who saw my last question on here will know!. And I need some help deciding what to buy!. I know I'm going to need to spread out meals across the day more, eat whole grains, eat fruits and vegetables!. I'm good with all that!. The problem I have is nuts!. Those are a big source of protein and I'll probably be eating a lot of them!. So, which nuts are the best for you!? Which nuts should I avoid!? How much of them should I be eating a day!? Any information is appreciated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
When it comes to nuts, as I see it there are three major qualifications:
1) Price (peanuts win out here)
2) Nutrient Load (cashews, almonds, and pistachios are great)
and
3) Care: This is the most important factor!. Nuts are high in monounsaturated fatty acids, which are great for you, but quick to degrade in the presence of heat and air!. If you can find a natural foods store that stores their nuts in the fridge or freezer section, go for that!.

Note: You probably won't have to worry as much about protein as you think; most North Americans eat too much protein!. Don't overdo it with the nuts; they should be an occasional snack more than a daily staple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eat a variety and don't overdo it because they are very fatty!.

Almonds aren't nuts!.

"The almond that we think of as a nut is technically the seed of the fruit of the almond tree, a medium-size tree that bears fragrant pink and white flowers!. Like its cousins, the peach, cherry and apricot trees, the almond tree bears fruits with stone-like seeds (or pits) within!."Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are all good, buy some mixed nuts!. You don't want to eat just nuts eat beans too since nuts are more fattening!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

corn nuts are bestWww@FoodAQ@Com

Limit your amount of peanuts - they are high in fats!. Almonds have antioxidants that are very good for you!. Brazil Nuts are expensive!. I wouldn't go overboard on the nuts - everything in moderation!. That's all I know!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
