Why am I always really cold? plz anwer!!!!!?!

Question: Why am I always really cold!? plz anwer!!!!!!?
I'm a omnivore-turned-vegetarian-turned-vegan, and for as long as I can remember I have had very cold hands and feet!. Even in fairly warm weather, I tend to feel chilly!. Like in spring people will all be wearing short sleeve shirts, and I'll have goosebumps and be shivering!. It's not really extreme, but I definitely have a weird body temperature or something!. Is this some vitamin defficiency!? I am 14, 5'3'', and about 107 pounds!. Not underweight or anything, I take supplements, any ideas!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think this condition is a combination of things!. If you have lower-than-average blood pressure, you will have cooler hands and feet!. If you are a more stressed-out personality type you will have colder hands and feet than a more relaxed person!. You are not extremely underweight but you are thin which means you have less overall muscle than a bigger person and muscles produce heat!. Exercising more and learning to relax may make a difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Poor circulation to the hands and feet!.
Yunnan Baiyao Powder and other Yunnan Baiyao products work well!.

I have been trying the spray and the foot bath and they powder (orally) to improve my circulation this winter (live in Canada and work outdoors all winter long - got frostbite last winter)!. Seems to be working; no frost bite!. also, I keep a bottle of the powder in my first aid kit because if you get a cut and put the powder on it, it will stop the bleeding amazingly fast; you'd really need this stuff if you've got yourself a big gash or deep cut etc!. -- I always keep some around for such an emergency!.

also, the vitamin niacin (b3) is said to help improve circulation, but I prefer the Yunnan Baiyao powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This has nothing to do with veganism, but may have something to do with your diet!.

Women naturally get colder hands and feet than men, and I had them when I was a meat eater, and many of my friends (meat eaters) get cold hands too!.

I don't get them anymore, so I didn't have it checked out by a doctor, but you should!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

your a 14 year old vegan!. you are 107 pounds and your 5'3"!. I think that it is the lack of protein!. my sister is a vegetarian and when she turned vegetarian her hands and feet were cold also!. it is just what happens when you take a whole food group out of your diet!. don't worry about it!. it is just what happens when you turn vegi/vegan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sounds like you could be anemic which is giving you poor circulation, it can be pretty common among veg*ns if you aren't making sure your getting plenty of iron or b12!. load up on the spinach and b12 fortified foods!.
or you could just be someone who is naturally colder than others, i know im usually cold alot of the time when others think it feels fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

maybe you have slow circulation!? or need to get more vitamins in your system i would talk to your doctor if your really concerned
i too have cold hands and feet, but I'm not too concerned about it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

poor blood circulation, go to the health food store and ask a professional there for a supplement that increases blood circulation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My daughter is vegetarian and also cold all the time!. She also has hypothyroidism, which has that symptom!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mother always said "cold hands warm heart"!. Seriously, have a chat with your medical provider, if you are concerned!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is most likely low blood pressure, eat more salt and drink a TON of water (i'm the same way)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should ask your doctor, but I think that's genetic!.
