yeah!. i have been a vegetarian for over a year, and there has been a big change in my skin complexion!. i never really noticed it but now that i think about it i usually have no pimples, and i really do have flwless skin :DDD with my period : less breakouts i get 0-3 new zits during this but they clear up really fast ! :/ my skin is so soft its so so so soft, and i get complemntd all the time like "ur skin is just so soft!" "ur skin is so FLAWLESS" "is that natural" "is it just ur makeup that makes u look so dang flawless!?" and its great i love my skin i used to be really self concious about my skin i hated it back when i was a meat eater :( i will never go back, but now my skin is a confidence booster, gotta love it!. and i recommend u try it being vegetarian is the healthiest thing u can do for ur body, and it feels great not eating a lil animal (thats all i think about when i think about meat) like if i saw someone eating a turkey the turkey is in my head sayin gobble! gobble! try checking out some websites about being a meat eater and the abused animals, and vegetarians!. the only reason meat eaters can say they eat meat is:so what!?! it's good! and havent u notice that!?!?!?

yes my darling, vegetarian diet is sometimes rich in methionine which is obtained by eating soy products and sesame seeds!. Vegans or Vegetarians also have problem obtaining Vitamin D which is not obtained in plant source and rarely obtain in some species of mushrooms!. whiter skin is a symptom of vitamin d deficiency!.

Vegan and vegetarian diet is also rich in vitamin c and antioxidants that is responsible for better complexion of the skin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

To the person regarding vitamin D: You can get vitamin D from skin contact with sunlight!.!.!. Just get some sun everyday until your skin turns slightly pink (according to a Dr!. Mercola) and DON'T get burned and you'll be fine!. I don't know about sunscreen, I don't use it!.!.!.

Anyway, I'm vegan, and some differences I've noticed in my skin is way less acne, clearer skin, etc!.!.!. I don't know much about skin tone but I'm not pale!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it is true!. When I went vegan my blackheads disappeared, I haven't had a zit since, and my skin has a beautiful healthy glow!. People have actually complimented how clear and soft it is!!! I LOVE IT!.

I think it's because your body can work on what it's supposed to work on instead of breaking down and digesting all the junk you're putting in it that you shouldn't be (if that makes any sense)!. I'm not sure if the skin thing is normal for vegetarians or just vegans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mostly because we eat a diet low in fats!. A junk food vegetarian would not see any difference, since chips, ice cream, pizza, etc have a high fat content!.
