Cream of Asparagus soup!. Keep one or two spears out!. Puree the Asparagus in a blender or food processor!. You will need to add a little liquid, chicken broth or milk!.
Put in a pot and add liquid!. About 2 cups total!. I use about half broth and half cream or just milk!. Simmer, do not allow to boil for about 10 minutes!.
Chopreservedd Asparagus and add to soup!. I like to thicken mine at the table with plain crackers or Oyster Crackers!. Just a little salt and pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm veg not vegan, so typically I choke canned asparagus down with some mayo!. Sounds odd, but it works really well!. Sort of like artichokes with mayo!. If you are vegan, I propose a splash of cider vinegar!. It's how I at my canned spinach as a kid (only fresh for me now)!. I suspect it would be delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Canned is so over cooked in my opinion that I don't even like to heat it!. Drain and marinade for an hour or two in Italian salad dressing!. Use as part of a salad!.
