Being vegetarian means not eating animals or slaughter bi-products!. Some people look at me weird when I say I don't eat Jell-o, Jr Mints, Skittles, Starbursts, gummy bears, etc!. I say an animal is an animal no matter how finely you grind it up!. I also don't eat most yogurts, as they have gelatin in them, or anything with rennet, lard, beef fat, or other hidden animal products!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
NO! and im 13 non of my family are veggie i amit i ate jelly sweets up till 9 years old but i didnt relise but defo not !

My son and I are veg, occasionally we eat it when MIL makes it especially for us!. Trying to explain that gelatin comes from animals for the 89th time (or not eating what she thought was "safe" for us) causes quite the family feud!.!.!.so not worth it!. It's really the only time we eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'm a vegetarian, and I won't eat Jello because it contains gelatin!. I think that if your vegetarian you should not eat anything containing meat at all other wise it defeats the whole point of being vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think any vegetarian that eats jello should just put a blind fold on and drive were deer are populated because that's exactly what they're doing to the animals, killing them without even knowing it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I personally didn't even like jello before, but if I did I still wouldn't eat it!. What kind of "vegetarian" eats animal marrow but not meat!.!.!.!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Nope I don't eat Jell-o!. Gelatin is not vegetarian!. I couldn't knowingly eat gelatin and still call myself a vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't!. Even the 'vegan jello rip off' (can't remember the name) has an ungodly amount of preservatives in it and tastes like rubber!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gelatin is made from kelp alginate made to make jellyWww@FoodAQ@Com
No, or marshmallows!. They also have gelatin in them!.
Yes vegetarians CAN eat gelatin, but they aren't really vegetarians if they do!. Bone marrow is still considered flesh and bone of an animal, which the "vegetarian" would be consuming, because that is what gelatin isWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think they should too and I don't eat things with gelatin in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
N!.O!. Let your sister know that most vegetarians do some research to find out what hidden animal products can be in groceries!. Of course there some vegetarians that know what gelatin is (bones, teeth, ligaments, cartilage) and still choose to include it in their diet!. For me personally, it's comparable to a vegetarian who eats a vegetable soup made with chicken broth!. That vegetarian could argue, " Well, there's no animal MEAT!." My argument is it's made WITH parts of an animal so therefore it's not a vegetarian-friendly food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I refuse to personally but i no veggies that do =DWww@FoodAQ@Com
