Are you a vegetarian, vegan, pescetarian, or any other label?!
Another question-- Why are grains and legumes off limits to strict vegetarians!? They do not contain animal parts, so why not eat them!?
And!.!.!.!. When a self proclaimed vegetarian eats eggs, cheese, milk, etc aren't you just contradicting yourself and your beliefs in animal rights!?
!.!.!. just curious!. Thanks :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

i'm a lact-ovo vegetarian! :)
no meat but i still consume dairy products!. (limited bases though)
the only type of "vegetarian" that does not eat grains and legumes would be none at all!. even fruitarians eat these!.
and no not at all!.
there are many types of vegetarians out there!.
if you we contradicting yourself you would be a vegan!.
you also may be a proclaimed vegetarian for health reasons and nothing to do with animals!.
basically when it comes to the decision to be a vegetarian you are going by your beliefs, like i said if i felt like i was ever contradicting myself i would go strict vegan!. but i am staying true to what i believe, and i do not feel guilty about it!.
plus, the whole point of vegetarianism would be nonexistent, there would only be vegans in the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grains ans legumes are not off limits, i've never heard that and been veggie for 29 years and never heard anyoen say that!.
many veggies do get concerned over eggs and dairy and some stop eating it!. But, it doesn't make then vegan!.
me, for example, i don't touch dairy but do wear wool, so i'm veggie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
