I've been a vegetarian for 6 years and a vegan for much less time!.

I miss shrimp!. And sushi!. Only fish, really!.

I think a lot of people feel guilty for missing something from their past lives as omnivores!. Whereas, admittedly meat tastes good, and that is why going "veg" is a struggle!. This is something we should be proud of, not pretend is not there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years now and a full fledged vegan for 1 year (I slowly cut out dairy and eggs)!.

I still miss my brie too!. and marshmallows (like the little ones that come in the Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Packets)!. Yumm!. Although Sweet and Sara has helped with the marshmallow thing, I still miss the brie though and all the cheeses (swiss, papperjack, smoked gouda, mozzarella)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I went vegetarian last April!. Sometimes I crave chicken wings, but I get over it!. That's really the only thing I miss!. I recently discovered Boca's Flame Grilled veggie burgers!. They're so damn good!! I also discovered Morningstar bacon!. It tastes really really good!. Even the texture is nice!. I use almond milk!. I find that I prefer it to soy!. It's thinner and goes really well in most cereals!.

Veggie almost three years!. Vegan three months!. I don't miss to much!. I still miss canned tuna and fish fingers!. And I miss being able to eat whatever my friends are eating!. Every time we go out for pizza, I get told that pizza isn't pizza without cheese!. And when they want to eat in a greasy fast food place there is never anything remotley vegetarian on the menu!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm 16, and was a vegetarian from birth till about 9, and then I ate meat till I was 13, when I became a vegetarian for two years!. Now at 16 I'm vegan for life because it's something I feel compassionate about!. It's only been a month, so I haven't really missed anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've been a vegetarian for two years!. I don't miss red meat at ALL!.!.!. but I miss not having to pick around everything, or order things specially, etc!.

And every now and then I get a craving for chicken!.!.!. since that was the final thing I let go of!. (I had stopped eating red meat long before!.!.!. I only ate chicken for awhile!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I haven't eaten meat or fish since May 1998!. The only thing I miss is canned tuna in a sandwich with vinegar + either mayo, ketchup or salad cream!. Of course I have no idea what it tastes like anymore though, but yeah, I crave it like crazy sometimes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

my sis was a vegetarian for five years then went vegan for a year she missed alot so went back to vegetarian then went back to normal eatting because she missed alot i on the other hand just eat dairy eggs and whole grains nuts fruit veges i'm very vegetarian but i'm not i eat a chicken salad here and there grilled of course or turkey salad anything healthy but i don't always have barely haveWww@FoodAQ@Com

My Mum brought me up as a vegetarian so I haven't eaten meat for 20 years!. Saying that I did eat fish for a year when I was about 14!. Having never eaten meat I don't miss it nor do I want to try it whatsoever!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've been a vegetarian for about 11 years, and the only things I really miss are battered Cod and canned Tuna!.(I don't know why I miss the latter, for the life of me!)
