Opinions on V-8 fusion drinks?!

Question: Opinions on V-8 fusion drinks!?
i love the taste, just wondering how others feel about the claim that a glass contains a full serving of fruits/veggies!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
No, it does not contain a full serving of fruits or veggies!. It may contain that same amount of certain vitamins or minerals, but does not have the fiber and untold numbers of phytochemicals and antioxidants found in the actual piece of fruit or vegetable!.

Hey, it's not nice to fool Mother Nature! After all, how can you improve on a pear!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It doesn't even come close!.

First, the juice is fortified with the nutrients from one serving of fruits and vegetables!.!. The juice they use is "reconstituted from concentrate" which generally means highly processed and nutritionally lacking!. They then add synthetic chemical equivalents of the nutrients which are present in fruits and vegetables!.

Second, fruits and vegetables contain fiber and enzymes, two things your body requires to digest food and assimilate nutrients!. V-8 fusion contains no fiber, and no enzymes!.

Just eat food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A glass of both fruit and veggies is right up my street!. I like potato-prune, raspberry-kale, or turnip-strawberry, or just straight aglutinated beet juice!. Ya know, a cheese-burgie might be a better alternative, or perhaps just pour that cr*p down the drain and gnaw on the freakin' plastic bottle (be sure to remove the label first of course)!.

A cheese-burgie doesn't contain a full serving of anything except FLAVOR!. Remember flavor!? It's why most people eat food to begin with!. Another "option" with V-8 fusion is to buy the flavor that you deem most disgusting and give it as a gift to someone you already don't like!. Or just Fedex bottles of the stuff to the IRS!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

its juice and high in calorie and sugar, but if you are not getting enough fruits or veggies in your diet!.!.!.or not getting enough calories(like me), than it does give you the nutrients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I had a tropical flavored one and didn't like it very much!. It was too thick and had a strange texture to itWww@FoodAQ@Com

Sugars and nutrients yes, enzymes no!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Silly, you could have had a glass of An Hero!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
