Same thing happened to me when I slipped up!. but when I got a REALLY bad stomach ache I said to my self I am not doing this to my body I'm going vegan again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was a veg for 3 years and recently have started eating meat!. your digestive system is in shock!. It is used to eat veg and then you are throwing foods into it that are harder to process!. This is probably not due to Lacto intolerance, it is because your body isnt used to the food you are putting in it!. You should take it slow with adding meat and cheese in your diet, only light meats like fish and chicken!. NO BEEF for a while!. and cheese in small amounts!. Work yourself up to it, and you will feel much better,Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, the reaction to cheese could, or could not, mean that you've developed a case of lactose intolorance!. I'm lactose intolorant and have been my whole life, and when I eat or drink dairy products it gives me diahrea (sp!?)!. also, after a while, your body stops producing an enzyme-- I think it's an enzyme-- that helps digest meat, which is why you're having stomach cramps!. Be happy that's all you have, I had a friend who was vegetarian for a while then had meat and she was vomiting!. After a while, I'm sure your body will get used to animal products again though!. Just take it slowly and if your stomach starts to cramp stop eating and lay down or something!. Keep a trash can near too, just in case you do puke!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarian for three months :]
Hope you get better soon :'[Www@FoodAQ@Com

As your stomach was habitual for digestion of vegetable, the meat and cheese were quite new to your stomach!. You should take more water so that the acidity of meat and cheese is diluted and you don't have any stomach trouble!. Good Luck!. Please take care!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like you're lactose intolerant!. Switch to soy cheese and drink Lactaid or Dairy-ease milk and see if that helps!. also, cheese naturally takes a long time to digest, so if you eat it before you go to sleep, it's in your system for a longer timeWww@FoodAQ@Com

maybe, cos you have a sudden change to your diet and your stomach needs time to get used to it!. take meat but by bit, so it slowly gets used to it!.
