Ok, so I was watching this show called the "Jamie Kennedy Experiments!." It was hilarious, then I saw this one scene!. They were at a vegan restaurant in California!. They tricked the customers into ordering a managers special that they claimed was "African Peanut Stew," and they put tiny pieces of chopped up bacon into the stew, which the people didn't know!. On the way out, they then told the vegs what they just ate!. Some looked appalled, and others just laughed!. What would you do!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I personally find that very cruel and disrespectful!. People, of course, become vegetarians/vegans for different reasons (some for health, others for environmental reasons and others still for moral reasons, which is why I went veg), so their reactions to finding out that someone had tricked them into eating meat would vary, but I still find it cruel and disrespectful!.
As a vegetarian, you have to put some measure of trust and faith in waiters/cooks at restaurants!. You don't see what they put in your food (except in restaurants where the food is cooked right in front of you), so you have to take their word that it doesn't contain anything you're opposed to eating!. For someone to purposely take advantage of that for the sake of a few laughs is ridiculous and immature!.
I would have been very insulted, very angry and very upset if that had happened to me!. Accidents happen and I understand and accept that, but intentional things like this are a different story all together!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's stupid - that could have been a dangerous situation if the person was vegan or vegetarian because of allergies, and the people doing the show don't know about the victim's medical records!. People just think it's funny to pick on vegetarians - they wouldn't have been like "LOL You ordered Minestrone but we put nuts in it haha! isn't that funny", because the person ordering could be allergic and could die!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That happened to me before! Only it was a different food and my gay a** friend did it to me!. I kicked him in the balls, flipped him off and left him weezing in pain in the middle of the street!. He had to stay home from school the next day because he couldn't walk!. Hey, he had it coming, MESS WITH ME!!:):) Don't mess with the veggies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd probably sue them for emotional distress!. I'd start with the people on site, then the production crew, then the studio involved!. Lots of bad publicity, lots of fuss and the unemployment line for Jamie Kennedy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
