How long does it take for meat to exit the body?!

Question: How long does it take for meat to exit the body!?
I just turned vegetarian 3 weeks ago and became curious if the my lack of eating meat had anything to do with the way I've been feeling today!. Basically I've had an empty stomach all day and felt really weak, even after eating!. Would it be promising to conclude that this has something to do with the change in my diet!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It could be that you made the change too fast, I felt a little nauseas when I went vegetarian drastically too for the first few days mostly becuase I wasn't eating properly as I had no idea what to eat and little access to it when I did because of a tight budget!. It'll pass, quicker if you bulk up on healthy foods!. Try getting some soymilk and veggies into you for a few days!.

Make sure you don't eat junk!. Diet changes can make you feel a little weird!. When I went vegan I was always hungry and that was because I had no time to cook a proper meal and was too picky at that time to try anything!. Then when I went back to being a vegetarian I felt better once my body re-adjusted to dairy!. Then when I started eating meat again since I needed to when I went on an exchange to Japan I was hungry the entire time I was there even after consuming enormous amounts of food!. Then I felt fine when I got back and went vegetarian again!. So yeah!.!.!.!.what you eat makes a difference in how you feel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It might, make sure your getting enough protein in your diet, like peanut butter and/or possible supplements and vitamins!. also make sure your still drinking enough water and bananas are a good source of potassium!. Good luck!. It usually takes about six to seven weeks to feel the full benefits of it all, because there is often a lot of undigested red meat that is very stubborn in letting go of the colon, however I do not recommend a colon cleansing at this time!. Just let nature take its course and try not to think about it so much!. Just keep busy and eventually it becomes a healthy way of life!. I don't like much meat either, I just never have been big on meat!. I do like seafood and dairy products, but I don't claim to be a vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It takes up to two weeks for flesh foods' waste materials to evacuate the bowel which is why many omnivore think that moving the bowel once or twice a week is normal!. It isn't!. You should evacuate you bowel shortly after eating!.
My suspicion is that you are feeling that way because you are not eating a well balanced diet with a sufficient amount of protein and carbohydrates!. Remember that you cannot be a healthy vegetarian by eating junk food and simply cutting out the meat, fish fowl game and eggs!. Fruit & vegetables, grain & beans, legumes, tofu, tempeh, dairy!. There is no reason to feel empty or hungry if you are eating a balanced diet!. also remember that the traditional foods of most cultures are grain based and perfectly balanced with their complimentary proteins such as corn and beans, rice and soy bean sprouts or rice and tofu or rice and tempeh, or wheat and legumes, PB&J w/milk, Mac and Cheese, got it!?

FYI: Quinoa is a grain -- the only one with all 7 essential amino acids, and it also comes in pasta form!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always, even before going vegetarian, was hungry most of the time because I had a really fast metabolism!. Then when I went vegetarian I seemed to start eating more, like midnight snacks and such!. But I think that was because for the first like month and a half there wasn't much food for me in the house really!. Now I think my metabolism might be slowing down or something-- I'm not really all that sure!. For the past like three weeks I just haven't been as hungry as I used to be!. But if it was my metabolism I'm pretty sure I'd be gaining weight, and I'm losing it, so I think that it has something to do with me being a vegetarian!. I'm not really sure though!. Maybe you should talk to a doctor or someone who specializes in diets, because I don't think these answers are really helping you much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarian for three months!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it takes about 30min-2h to digest meat and then the nutrients are stored but if it's been 3 weeks your probably missing something in your diet like protein or iron!. Review what your eating and see what's missing and you'll probably find the problem and feel better soon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What you eat is what you are!.!.!. It takes about seven years to become a true vegetarian!. I am talking about the thinking process!.
On earth, the life that eats meat are kinda cruel ( Tigers, Lions etc)!. The life that eats vegetation are peaceful ( you name them)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, not eating meat would make you feel better!. and it takes at MOST 10 days to leave your body, so that's not it!. Whenever you have an empty stomach you'll feel weak!. That's natural, and you should eat something!. also drink enough waterWww@FoodAQ@Com
