Is there anything in the vegan diet that could harm you?!
Instead of drinking milk, can soy milk harm you!? or fake cheese!? or fake meat!? or no eggs/meat!? anything that can harm you!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Anything, when you binge on it, is too much!. Yes, soy if it is a majority of your diet is bad!. It's also bad if you have already had breast cancer!. Other then that just use it as part of a balanced diet and your fine!. The same is true of the processed fake meats, cheeses and things - processed is not as good for you as natural - most of your diet should be made up of fruits, veggies, whole grains and things, but a little processed food is fine!. After all we've all been eat white bread, which is wheat processed and removed of all the good stuff, for years!. Just be moderate about it, the same way you should be about desserts!.
The only thing in a vegan diet that can harm you is if you don't know what you're doing!. You need to make sure you're getting the right foods, things that contain essential fats (coconut oil, olive oil, avacados, walnuts, flax seed, pumpkin seed, etc) the right vitamins (B-12 especially is something you need to be aware of - it's in fortified foods like cereals and pastas or you need to take a pill) You need to know where all the other vitamins and minerals come from so you are sure that you're getting them, but other then that no there's not a danger!.

Any food eaten in excess can be harmful to your health!. You need proteins, vitamins, and minerals in a daily diet, I don't care if your a vegan or not, if you drink nothing but soy milk and eat veggie burgers all day, you WILL get sick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
