Question: If i keep going with the Vegetarian thing how long!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
how long will it take me to loose 10 pounds, because my friend lost ALLOOT of weight by doing this, but not sure how long it took!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ugh!. All your replies seem to be under the ridiculous assumption that fat makes you fat!. In fact, fat keeps your cells functioning, you need fat!.

Being a vegetarian alone will not make you drop weight!. The forumla is calories in vs!. calories out!. To lose fat, you have to burn more than you consume!. You can do this in two ways 1!. exercise 2!. cut your intake, or ideally, both!. When on a healthful plan, losing 10 pounds should take 5-10 weeks!. But cutting out meat won't magically make this happen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you plan and make most if not all of your meals for a while, it should take you about 4-6 weeks without exercise, assuming you aren't overweight (in which case you'll lose more), and most of the food you consume is unprocessed and low in saturated fats (you'll want to take it easy on the cheese, icecream, milk, creamer, and yogurt)!.

I lost 15 lbs!. in the first 2 months of going lacto ovo veg!. I'm still dropping weight now that I've gone vegan!. Oops ;) I started at 180 when I went lacto ovo, and I've lost 35 more lbs (I'm now at 129-130 lbs) since I went vegan 6 months ago!. But veganism is not a diet, it's actually more involved in every aspect of your lifestyle!. I don't eat at restaurants much and I prepare most of my meals- simple or more labor intense meals!.

Sweetheart, i was a vegetarian for 4 years!.!.
it didn't really help my weight!.!.

Now i have horrible eating habits though!.!.
like not eating enough, etc!.

The point is, you should just eat quiet organically!.
alot of fruit, vegetables, no fast food or junk that you don't
know what could be in it!.

make things yourself, that's the best option!.

You need to cut calories and fat too!. And exercise!.

I wish it was as easy as just cutting out meat!. But unfortunately there are hundreds of junk foods that are vegetarian!.

As far as how long, When dieting and working out; you should lose about 2 pounds a week!.

vegetarian food is sometimes fatty because its full of a lot of dairy!.

i went vegan and lost 10 lbs in about 2 months w/o working out at all but just by eating healthy!.

It took me a little over a month to lose 10 lbs when I went vegetarian!.!.!. i also exercised though (moderately) !.!. But don't do it to lose weight!.!. because it will come right back when you go back to your regular diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
