Does anyone have an idea on how to help my blood sugar with fruits... I'm a vegan?!

Question: Does anyone have an idea on how to help my blood sugar with fruits!.!.!. I'm a vegan!?
TRYING to be raw but do have hypoglycemia and have found that for example an apple CANNOT provide me with the same relief that brown rice will!.
I don't know what to do!.!.!.
I just got back from the emergency doctor (it's 9 20 PM here) and was jsut told my blood sugar level was WAY too low!.
I'm fine ow, I had a soft drink and some brown rice with potato and spinach curry!.
Any ideas how to better manage this or should I keep a proportion of my diet cooked so that I don't get these horrible crashes!.

Answers:
has nothing to do with this!.!. has everything to do with genetics!.

deal with it!.!.

are you sure you're eating a very complete vegan diet!? i mean there's thousands and thousands of veggies and fruits!.!. along with other vegetable matter!.!.!.!.

oh, soft drinks are not vegan!.!.!. nor will it help your blood sugar!.

time to start talking about a drug regiment!.!.!. if this is genetic!.!. there's not much one can do!.

like such with my abundance of protein produced by my liver!.
i have to take meds!.!.!.!. (also because of my malignant hypertension!.!. again, genetics!.) so thus!.!.!. my veganism has been penetrated!.

it happens!.

when i cut out processed foods!.!. my health greatly improved!.!.!. when i dropped soda, packaged garbage, processed product!.!. things leveled out greatly!.!.!.!. but as a precaution!.!. i still must take the meds!.!.!. especially for my chronic disorder that i picked up from my mother's side of the family!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

still considers myself a vegan, 34 years!. eh, ever think of getting a juicer!? and juice those fresh fruits and veggies!? you'd be surprised how much minerals, vitamins, and natural (the key here is natural) sugars you can absorb in one sitting!.!.!.!. by juicing your produce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Orange juice is a good way to keep you blood sugar from dropping to low!.
Just a few times a day and add a little protein to your diet, like peanut butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fruit juice should work faster then brown rice!. An apple has lots of natural sugar, but the sugar from apple juice will get into your system faster!. Grape Juice is very high in sugar content, even higher then most soft drinks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think you should eat a mostly raw diet, with enough cooked food to keep your blood sugar stable!. I'm not sure if this would happen!.!.!.maybe your body will adjust to a raw diet gradually and you will not need to cooked food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Perhaps you should get away from fad diets and listen to a real doctor instead of some open website!.

agave nectar(low glycemic and doesen't cause crashes) and Orange juiceWww@FoodAQ@Com

You need to eat more protein!. Drinking juice will bring your blood sugar up but your body will call for insulin and in a short time the insulin will take care of the blood sugar leaving you with low blood sugar again!.

To prevent this eat: soy beans, tofu, Tempe (which has 41 g of protein), lentils and beans!. I think you will see that you will have to cook these to be able to eat them!. How did you eat the brown rice and potato!?

I guess I was thinking you were a vegetarian since you didn't mention animal protein!. If you aren't, eat some meat, chicken, fish, beef, etc!.

Eating things raw is not bad but you need to supplement with cooked foods!. You can have a large salad but add a boiled egg or strips of ham or turkey and cheese!.

It seems that fruit may be a problem for you!. When you eat fruit, eat a piece of cheese or dip your apple in a nut butter or eat some nuts with it!. Avoid fruit juice unless it is part of a meal that contains protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
