Can meat be the reason for my poor health?!
I have a question regarding vegetarianism!. Last summer, I decided to become a veggie and I lasted for 6 mons!. My health was excellent!. I'm a chronic acne suffer and my skin was clear!. I was at my perfect BMI and I had no health issues!.!. The only thing was my aka line lever in my blood was really high (still don't really know what that means!.)
Well, I lost my battle for vegetarian lifestyle to eat meat again!. Well I started having skin problems, stomach issues, bowl issues and chronic yeast infections and I'm like what the hell!?
Is it the meat I'm eatinthat'sts causing all these issues with me, or is it just something that may be happening to me!?
If it is the meat, I might as well go veggie again!.!.
All comments and advice are appreciated!.!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think when you were vegetarian you ate healthier!. You probably ate more vegetables and more nutritious food, and less fat and sugar!. Am I right!? I don't believe it's the meat itself causing these problems (but I could be wrong of course) but the overall nutrition you're getting!. I suggest going vegetarian again if it's going to help keep you so much healthier!. But if you MUST have meat, why don't you try eating just a little lean meat, and balancing that with more fruits and veggies!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
yes go back to vegetarianism!. I fell off the vegan wagon for a hot second too and it was horrible!. I started pigging out on turkey sausage, cheese, and beef!. I got heartburn, and a bad stomach ache, plus a few pimples!. I quickly went back to my vegan diet and felt better again!.
and no dave C!. I didn't eat junk food i just ate a lot of animal products so it is perfectly appropriate to blame meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you talking about your blood sugar reading being high!? Ask your doctor about this!. When becoming a vegetarian again you will have to watch your carb and sugar intake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think you already know the answer!. Go back to a vegetarian diet and see if the problems clear up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I rather doubt that meat is the sole cause of whatever your problems are but go vege if that is what turns you on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't know what aka line lever is!? Never heard of it!. Are you talking about your A1C!?
Before you blame everything on meat!.!.!. you need to look at all the changes you made to your diet and lifestyle!.
Generally, when you were a vegetarian you could have been eating healthier overall!.!.!. and when you fell off the wagon and gave up, you could have started eating more junk food as well as meat!.
However, if you can live on a vegetarian diet (which it sounds like you can't) you might as well go back to it, but be honest with yourself first and look at the whole picture and not just blame everything on meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
