Buying Farm Shares (for local, seasonal produce)?!

Question: Buying Farm Shares (for local, seasonal produce)!?
Has anyone ever bought seasonal shares in to a farmers alliance!? I'm thinking about it and would like to hear about your experiences if you tried it!. The one I am considering provides weekly boxes of items for about $24 a week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I've had great experience with CSA (community-supported agriculture) farm shares!.

The hard part is eating all the food that comes in!. You have to stay on top of it, because every week a new share comes in!. also, you may not know what to do with some of the foods because they may be unfamiliar to you!. You'll find yourself looking up recipes online to figure out what to do with that fennel or those fava beans!.

However, these challenges are also positives, because you'll be eating lots of fresh produce and expanding your nutritional repertoire!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
