I would fence off a part of your yard first, leave it for a few weeks (for the poo/wee to decompose) and then use it :) but if your not worried about the dog part of it, then go right ahead :) Not sure of the nutrition involved, varies from grass to grass, from my ag studies, kikuyu was about mid level nutrition for stock :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

So make sure that your backyard is clean and especially that Wash it very well with hot water first boil a water with the grass then do it again with a new water then you can blend it but surely you need plenty of sugar and don't eat roots, after that i think you should add milk and it will have nutrients that is called:PROTEIN,For the sugar is:FATS
but maybe you can use wheat grass for flour!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

no hurt in trying it!.!.

ive actually given it some thought before, lol i saw a pile of lawn clippings and thought, hmm!.!. with some wild rice, lemon and pepper!.!. :]

but what im going to do is grow some wheat grass in my window so i can blend it and stuff, you could probably do this with regular grass and it would be a lot less questionable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would not do that if I where you!! Lawn grass if full of chemicals do not risk it!! Grow wheat grass yourself at home! It is easy, and then juice it! (You can only drink it juiced, do not put it in a blender!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grass from your lawn or field It lacks enough nutrition for humans to survive on and therefore is an unsuitable diet!.

Wheat grass is great though, I would definitely add that to juices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You would be wise to stay away!. The grass will have tons of bacteria, and possibly viruses on it!. Salmonella is very common from bird feces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can, but realize that there are a lot of chemicles on lawns and dogs !.!.!. well, you know what dogs doWww@FoodAQ@Com

You're weird if you're talking about the kind in your backyard!Www@FoodAQ@Com

just stick to wheat grass from a pot, not your dog's poopy pee pee laden back yard!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think it has much juice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
