Can I eat the roots on broccoli sprouts?!

Question: Can I eat the roots on broccoli sprouts!?
I have started sprouting broccoli seeds using the Easygreen sprouting system!. The results are excellent, but I am surprised that there is such a large root system (as large as the sprouts themselves)!. Does anyone know if it is safe or desirable to eat the roots!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, you should eat them!. Most sprouts have long roots and little baby leaves!. You eat the whole thing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The entire sprouts of most any seeds contain all the nutrition and you should consume the whole thing!. Throwing out part of them would be wasteful!. It's as bad as only using the crowns of broccoli, or the tops of muffins!.!.!. the whole thing is just as nutritious!Www@FoodAQ@Com

well a lot of people throw them out and dont eat them because they dont like them but i eat them!. put them in a pan with a little butter, olive oil and seasonings and they're good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
