Answers:
You're an omnivore!. There's no such thing as a vegetarian who eats eggs, fish and dairy!. Eggs and dairy, yes, but FISH IS MEAT!!!!!!!! Seriously!. Fish are animals, and their muscles, flesh, and skin is meat!. Always!. No vegetarians EVER eat meat!. You are a meat eater!. If you really want a label, call yourself a pescetarian!. You're still not a vegetarian, so don't say that you are!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians eat a large variety of foods (especially from the culture they're from) except meats, fish and poultry!. For example, Americans who are vegetarian eat salads with sliced eggs, vegetarian bacon bits, olives, carrot slices and dressing (without bacon) on it!. You will notice that I said "egg!." Most vegetarians eat eggs from chickens!. "Vegans" do not!. The difference between what is commonly called "vegetarians" and "vegans" is that vegans also abstain from eating eggs, butter, cheese and drinking milk!.

More examples: vegetarians will order a bean and cheese burrito with rice and salsa -- no beef or chicken or shrimp!.

Example: Vegans will order hummus with toasted breads with a side of Greek salad -- no egg slices!.

List of Grains: All Breads, Rice, Oatmeal, Quinoa, Wheat, Corn, Cous Cous, Buckwheat, etc!.

List of Nuts, Seeds and Legumes: All almonds, peanuts, cashews, filberts, Sunflower Seeds, Pine Nuts, Navy Beans, Soy Beans, Lentils, etc!.

List of Vegetables: Broccoli, Carrots, Kale, Cauliflower, Zucchini, etc!.

List of Fruits: Apples, Oranges, Pears, Peaches, Bananas, Pineapples, Melons, etc!.

Dairy (if you are not vegan): yoghurt, cheese, cottage cheese, milk, ice cream, etc!.

It's easier to think about the foods not on the list -- Vegetarians can eat all foods except for all meats (beef, pork, bacon, etc), fish (including shrimp), poultry (turkey, chicken, etc!.)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No special names nothing cool you are just a regular old omnivore or meat eater!. Fish is still an animal!. Those who say you are a pescetarian are wrong, because that is really not a legitimate term because a vegetarian is someone who does not eat any for of meat which includes poultry and fish and any other animals and we don't call meat eaters meatetarians so why do those who eat only fish get a special name when they are still eating a dead animal!. Sorry but you are just a regular omnivore like much of the rest of the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegetarian is a person who does not eat animals or slaughter bi-products!. Although many don't consider seafood meat (it goes back the the Catholic church hundreds of years ago) fish is an animal and as such not something a vegetarian would eat!. Pescetarian is becoming a new word (though I find it silly since it translates as "fish of the earth") meaning an omnivore who only eats fish!.

Props to you on your diet - it sounds like a healthy one so long as you are getting the right nutrients from beans, grains, fruits and veggies!.

Ugh - Please don't reference wikipedia - it's an internet site that can be edited by anyone and is in no way reliable!. Of course fish have a central nervous system and feel pain!. Here's a reliable site: http://www!.britannica!.com/EBchecked/topi!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fish are animals!. Vegetarians don't eat animals!. Therefore vegetarians don't eat fish, so you are not a vegetarian!. You are a pescatarian, but that is NOT a type of vegetarianism!. If you drop the fish then you will be a vegetarian because vegetarians can have eggs and dairy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

wait!. you don't eat meat!?

um!.!. didn't you just say fish!?

and eggs!? and drink milk!?

so much for that part eh!?

Who cares if something feels pain, your eating it!. Lets face it, whether it feels pain or not its still dead!. And I read something that croustaceans feel pain and stress, if a lobster feels pain I imagine a fish does too!.
I eat meat and love it!. Ive watched the "meet your meat" thing and I dont see the problem, born and raised to be eaten, me eating them is probably the best thing to ever happen to them!.
