Um... I'm a little confused about corn RAW VEGANS?!

Question: Um!.!.!. I'm a little confused about corn RAW VEGANS!?
OK, I'm a vegan trying to go 100% raw (I failed at first but I saw a dietitian who is heaps of help) and also trying to eliminate all grains from my diet ( a vegan argues that meat isn't suited for their body and isn't biologically appropriate, I argue (as do many other raw vegans) that grains aren't suited for our body) and wonder whether I should include corn into this!.
See, I think grains aren't good because we don't eat them raw and we have to cook them to really enjoy the taste but with corn I enjoy them raw and also like that taste!.
Still!.!.!. I obviously can't digest them properly!.

Corn is fine, although some say that after a while, you'll be sick of it!. In the meanwhile though, if you want it, that's fine!

also, if you need help going raw, here are some stuff you might find helpful:

To begin with, I think you (and the rest of the group who think alike) are stupid! You cannot digest corn because you probably didn't chew it well enough and swallowed the grains whole!. Your body cannot digest whole grains, it's just going to be pushed out!. Even if you for once consider cooked food is not good for you, corn is one of the things that can be eaten raw in different recipes and is well accepted by human bodies!.

I am a proud vegetarian, but thank God, I don't think as weird as this!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eliminating all grains from your diet will create problems in elimination - you need grains for keeping your digestive tract healthy!.

I enjoy a whole grain cereal with fruit, raisins and a tablespoon each of ground flax seed and a mix of oat and wheat bran, yogurt and Soya drink!. These added grains are raw!. I have this every morning for breakfast and it is delicious!

I don't have any problems digesting popcorn but have problems with canned corn or corn on the cob, no matter how much I chew!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your argument does not hold water with me!. The corn that you talk of is immature, not dry!. The only other grains that you have access to are dry, mature and storeable!. Small grains in the semi hard milk stage were eaten by me many times when I was around them!. It seems to me that you are trying too hard to be a martyr!.

I bet that you have given everyone a thunbs down because you do not agree with the answers not because they were wrong!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unlike other grains, corn is terrific raw, and doesn't require a lot of preparation before it can be consumed!. (soaking, sprouting)

Right after shucking, I pop the ears into some shoyu to marinate overnight!. That's it- then eat!

I've never had any problem digesting corn!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

wait!? what!?

sorry pal i eat corn!.!. by the tons!.

so what!? that's how corn is processed!.

well, YOU do what YOU want!.!. i'll have all the corn i WANT!.

Veganism is very hard!. Most vegans are so malnourished and don't get enough protein and other important nutrients!. I think you're going a little overboard with it!. Grains are perfectly fine (as long as you're not allergic to any)!. Corn sucks in the grand scheme of things, there's much better vegetables/grains out there!.

I'm a big meat eater, I eat lbs of dead animal flesh(chicken, turkey, beef) and 6-8 whole egg omelettes for dinner!. I look and feel great!. Most vegans look skinny and weak!. If you don't you're doing something right!.

EDIT: All you guys giving thumbs down are probably the weak, malnourished looking and skinny people I'm talking about lol!. Were omnivores meaning by natures evolutionary stages we are meant to eat both!. What do you guys have to say about that!? Have fun eating lentils for the rest of your lives while suffering from deficiencies in your body!.

Humans are classic examples of omnivores in all relevant anatomical traits!. There is no basis in anatomy or physiology for the assumption that humans are pre-adapted to the vegetarian diet!. For that reason, the best arguments in support of a meat-free diet remain ecological, ethical, and health concerns!. -John McArdle, Ph!.D!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
