eat 3 times a day plus healthy snacks inbetween

6:30 till 9:30!. for breakfast
12:00 till 2ish for lunch
5:30 till 11 for tea!.

whenever you feel hungry, eat a little wait 20 minutes and if you're still hungry after that eat a little bit more, I stress if you're hungry eat, if you're simply not full/stuffed that is not a reason to eat, only eat when you're hungry and eat lots of fruit and vegetables apple and brussel sprouts are my favorite!.

I also find that if you have trouble with over eating, flavored oatmeals can fill you up without adding many caloriesWww@FoodAQ@Com

WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY SILLY!

Having gone through the cycles of "what is hunger" and thinking every craving was hunger, I understand what you are asking!.

I find that your "standard" diet advice rings true!.!.!. every sites says if you think you're hungry wait 20 minutes and if you're still hungry THEN you can eat!.!.!. I agree that this helps the beginner conscientious eater!. It's not the end of the journey, but it sure does help!. As an American I think that we are totally out of control with portions and what we think NEED is!.

If Americans spent ONLY what they needed to sustain their bodies, and only ate home-prepared living meals, I can't even explain the changes we'd see in our local economy and environment!

So:

1!. Learn what hunger REALLY is to you
2!. Learn how many calories you need a day (i use fitday!.com)
3!. I eat about every three hours from Noon to 8 pm!. (so divide your calories by the number of meals you WANT to eat I eat 4 meals of about 300 calories)
4!. I make those 300 caloires count!. i don't eat anything processed outside my kitchen!.
5!. If you are trying to loose weight, 1200 calories of HIGH QUALITY food (not cooked, processed, resturant meals) should be enough unless you are doing exercise every day!.

I think it is healthy to eat 3 times a day with one snack time in between: Breakfast, lunch, snack time, and then dinner!. Breakfast and lunch should be about four hours apart maybe, snack time three hours after lunch, and dinner four hours after snack!. I hope that helps :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm on 6 meals a day!.
1 is JUST water (6 glasses on waking) plus breakfast lunch and dinner then two more one of fruit juice and one of coconut water!.

At the moment I'm thinking about just fruit for breakfast, leafy greens for lunch and dinner being root vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try not to force yourself to conform to a set amount of meals in a day, at a set time!. You should only eat when you are hungry, and not eat a meal just for the sake of eating one!. I've heard it's better to eat several small meals a day than three large ones!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is sort of vague, but you should always get at least 3 meals a day!. Depending on your schedule, you can fit in many smaller meals or a few snacks in between!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
